Hi! We are Phil and Alex! After leaving California in an RV, traveling full time, and helping our littlest with an open heart surgery, we've settled down in Tennessee. We found our homestead land and are learning each day how to live a more sustainable life. We are a family grown through the miracle of Adoption & Infertility Treatments. Our precious daughters are Kinsley Grace (6 years old), Callie Jo (4 years old), and Cassidy Drew (1). Our passion is to encourage families through infertility, adoption and building stronger healthier families. Thank you for tuning in! We hope you are encouraged!

I do believe Phillip is the cutest, happiest, funniest man! Having gone through IVF/infertility/meds for 18 years, it can be hard to find joy in the midst. But, he always finds joy!!

Although I do worry about all the Heartache and money of going through IVF with low quality embryos that have a low chance at survival.

I know if I'm having a bad day at work, with being a trauma room flight nurse, all I have to do is look at one of your videos and it seem to put me in a good mood and pick me. I’m so glad you got the rocks out of the bed! I’ve made that mistake before & it created more work than necessary. With your sticks & leaves, they will give you great nutrients when they break down, make sure you’re adding extra nitrogen to your soil this year, when you’re using the “lasagna method”, the unbroken down material will take nitrogen from your soil to break down, so your plants can suffer, but if you add nitrogen, they should be fine! ❤️

I would suggest looking into different ways to store eggs for winter time. I have never used lye myself but I remember my grandfather using lye for preserving vegetables and eggs for winter time. Keep up the great work!!!! Also would suggest canning... Bells Blue book for canning and preserving is a great starting place

Alex you remind me of my 37yr old son, Lorenzo...... Major ADHD, super smart, funny, humble.....and ALWAYS has to be busy. He built a food forest on 1acre of land. He was featured on a RU-vid channel for how he organically grows everything

Put up a fence with a cover on it for the chickens but you will also need to secure the bottom so they can’t get under the fence

I do not know the name of the tomato on the vine that I get at the grocery store, but medium sweet tomato. I planted the seeds and got the best yield of the best tasting tomatoes I have ever grown. Trying it again this year. I bought these tomatoes at the grocery store 2 weeks ago and when I cut them open some seeds had already sprouted inside the tomato!! I’m trying it again! I got all the seeds I needed from one tomato! These produced for me all season long and I’m also in TN. Memphis

**Huckleberry's** will grow in your forest land only. South side of hill. Plant on the highest point. They are a mother plant. I have never in my 40ish years of life here in the PNW seen them grow from seed. So I am very interested in your success. Blessings & Be Well

You can keep them for a year if you put them in a glass huge pickle jar with Lyme mixed in you can get it at the Lowe's or Home Depot... And DONT WASH THE EGG'S OFF. LEAVE THAT PROTECTION ON THEM.

In Australia we pay close to $2 a litre!!!! For petrol and a gallon is 4 times a litre. I can’t understand why you are always talking about the price of diesel. Our grocery prices are also the most expensive in the world. Housing is also becoming ridiculously unaffordable paying $450 a week rent for a very average 3 bedroom house with no garage and one bathroom.
