I’m glad I decided to look that program up and found your video! I was about to put my card’s info. In even though I was skeptical. I figured if anything I’d have some recipes. But now I’m going to save some money. I agree with every you say about it. 😊
I am starting to listen to you. I believe a bit of what you are saying. However, I did the original $29. And have been loosing. The diet is pretty much raw, and I feel amazing. I agree that if I go back to the way I used to eat, I will gain back weight. But it sure is a good way to hold yourself accountable. We have to plan what we eat or we plan to fail. I do the morning drink and lunch is a salad for me. Dinner is the smoothie unless I am fixing for hubby, then I do what I fix for him. She has a ton of exercises on you-tube and I am doing those. I just choose one and do it. Plus I walk. So we shall see, I am down 10 lbs.
Thank you!! I also was close to giving my card info until I found you. I have Lupus and thought maybe I could get rid of inflammation. I do agree with everything you say. Do you mind to tell me about the ginger shots?
I appreciate your feedback and experience. So glad it worked well for you and you were able to find something that you can sustain. That's awesome, well done!
I love it too. Even though I know clean eating is the best to do, I need a meal plan for me commit. Really, it is hard to get started with all the grocery shopping and fitting everything into the fridge, and doing separate meals, but losing all the weight would be hard so if this plan helps, say do it. I'm down 25 lbs and will keep her clean eating tips with me foreve.
I too was about to order her program. Instinct and knowledge told me it wasnt going to produce the uktimate results but for 29$ i was interested to see if i could lose 5 or 10 lbs. So i decided to search before i clicked purchase and ran across your video. Thanks for being the guinea pig and giving us the real 411. I'll stick to your suggestions and save myself the migraines (i suffer without food terribly) and the low energy and just focus on changing my habits. Thanks so much!!!🎉
I feel that having a phase of cutting out certain foods can be beneficial. But it's rarely sustainable and there lies the problem. You already know the things you need to cut back or be more consistent with. Do those things and keep going with it. Wishing you all the best on your health journey.
Thank you so much for saving me money! Definitely trust your review more than someone who has been an athlete all her life and who admittedly hadn't had similar issues with me growing up.. I really appreciate your openness, this is what makes your review stand out as honest. Cheers!
I think people often feel that if they look and train just like the person selling a product that they too could look like them. We need to appreciate we all have different challenges, different relationships with food and also different sizes and shapes of bodies. Improved health and fitness will come from sticking with the basics consistently, building good food lifestyle habits that will last for life. I'm glad the review was helpful for you, I appreciate your comment.
Glad it was helpful! And trust yourself. If you have done many diets you likely know what to do to get started. Don’t over complicate it. Start with the basics and decide that this time you will stick with it for the long haul.
Thank you so much for doing this and putting it out there on RU-vid! I'm glad I didn't sign up to it as I hate smoothy detox days. Ive tried it before on another diet and it tasted disgusting and I was absolutely starving. I'm mainly struggling to find easy recipes that are healthy.
I'm glad it was helpful for you. I actually love smoothies and do think if you get the balance right then they can really work well because they are quick and easy. Check out this blog post I did on creating the perfect smoothie emmacolseynicholls.co.uk/nutrition/breakfast/best-smoothie-ingredients-for-weight-loss/ And I do think that finding healthy recipes that you love is a big part of the battle. Once you can do that, you can find that you actually start to enjoy healthy foods and how they make you feel. I did really enjoy some of the recipes in the Metaboost plan, but there are lots of places you can find healthy recipes. Pinterest is a great place for that.
I respect all opinions and some things may not be for everyone. I have enjoyed this program so much. I was excited to join and im glad that I did with much success. I was 150 and wanted to hit my target weight of 130. I’m almost there. Most of all i have enjoyed the smoothies because i had no clue as to how a green smoothie could ever taste good and just love the ginger intake as well.
Thanks for sharing you experience. It's good to have inputs from so many different people and this is just my own personal experience and opinion. There are some recipes in there that I loved too and will continue to use. You have found something that works for you and thats wonderful. Keep up the good work, I hope you have continued success.
Thank you so much for this really honest review! Just as V Shred, the video is SO long and doesn´t say anything until you click at the end, to which I skipped, as it was obvious... $29 seemed to good, so when you mentioned the upselling, I´m really glad I didn´t sign up. I´m sure it may work for people, but I´m glad I didn´t sign up. Thank you! I´ve just been watching some of your other videos and I´m really enjoying them. 😊
Of course I think many people would get a result from this programme. But nothing is the magic fix. I believe in base health habits done consistently. Crash dieting is rarely the answer.
I am on my day 9 on the Metabots connection challenge. I have seen an increased amount of energy, but to be honest, I haven't lost any weight at all. I have spent in 10 days my whole family food budget because every recipe requires different ingredients, which it makes it make it really hard since everything is portioned. I bought ingredients that were only used once at the beginning of my challenge, and they are sitting in my fridge because I am trying to stick as a T to the program, but mentally it is very exhausting. I even had a road trip this past weekend and cooked all my 2 days' recipes to stick on them, but it is hard because it takes you for the joy of enjoying with your family because this plan is also base on a schedule, so you should eat your meals and snack as required in the program. Tomorrow is my last day, which I am excited to complete for the first time this kind of diet is, but my bank is broke with all honesty, and the weight is still with me.
Well done for sticking to it. Having more energy is a really great win eve if it's been hard. I hope you will use up the ingredients and maybe try remaking some of the recipes. Thanks for sharing your experience as it's valuble feedback. I think we also always need to remember that lasting results will often take time. So try and continue to eat well going out of the challenge and the results can still come.
The only way to lose belly fat is calorie deficit and increase in protein, no sugar, no grains. That is the only way over 50 I’ve had success. It’s not a lifestyle that can be sustained long term. I did a CrossFit challenge , had to count macros and were in a calorie deficit, lost some wait, gained it back when I went off the strict diet and I generally eat very clean.
I subscribed to your channel because you are honest. I was so disappointed in Meredith Shrik. She sounded so honest and so upfront. I said, "What is the big deal investing 29 dollars in my health? I was surprised with all the deceptive upsales. I couldn't believe the deception. I can't support her. I will call and cancel the 29 dollars. Sorry but Mere's approach is unethical.
I also don't like all of the upsell methods, but it's so common now on many programmes and I understand that it's a business model. But all I want is for the health and fitness industry to be a little more open and honest.
Hi I join Meta boost for the 2nd time. July 23 I lost 10 pounds I was 192 . 182 now. Yes my grandkids are here again with family. Yes I am a emotional eater sometimes. And avoiding fast food places. Thank you
I agree with you! It's the kind of advertising that I have issue with, I feel like the health and fitness industry is improving but it needs to do better and not lie to people or overhype what they are selling. It really comes down to being a marketing issue though.
Yeah, and I get it. As fitness professionals we do have to make a living and get the sales. BUT it can be frustrating when it's buy this next things, then the next thing. It's just sometimes too much.
I almost signed up, I changed my mind when there was no PayPal. I then came across your video 5 minutes later, sadly many women like me post menopausal who are struggling with not only weight gain but also inflammation are desperate to lose weight, I am a young fit 64 year old and no matter what i do the weight won’t budge. For four years I did keto, lost 10kg but have gained 5 kg back, I need to lose a min of 10kg. Imagine the money one is making by charging a small amount of $29 for possibly thousands of desperate people.
Menopause certainly has a lot to answer for and it can be incredibly challenging especially when you feel as though you are doing all of the right things. I think diets such as this can possibly get things moving again however I find that most people will find this diet unsustainable. Whilst it's hard to give a blanket recommendation as I don't know your diet, exercise or lifestyle habits but it's possible there may be small changes you can make to see results.
The only problem I see with this kind of diet is that it really minimizes protein. Our bodies are not made with veggies. Our muscles and bones need animal proteins (because they are bioidentical) and cholesterol. I don't think we need all the fats that the carnivores tend to push. So Lean meats, at least for me at my age, work best. But these mostly veggie/fruit diets and fasting tend to mean you lose muscle. Maybe try a PSMF, Protein sparing modified fast, a couple times a week. That is, high protein (to preserve muscle), low fat, low carb.
I had to try 3 different stores to find all of the ingredients for the metabolic flush and the metaboost, meal prep can take very long because the recipes have a lot of different ingredients (many but little quantity, 1/2 a cup, 1/4 of a cup etc.). And it's expensive, spirulina alone cost me 10 euros, apple cider vinegar, garlic salt, lots of different nuts and berries etc. Shopping, costs and preparation: tough
Sometimes I think that burning feeling is in my stomach. I mix some of the shopping list to be creative. I also put cinnamon in my water. I don't drink water enough and yes inflammation really is my problem. So I look for inflammation foods too.
There are so many of these great 'marketing' one pages - its easy to get taken in - brainwashed. We have all done it and got roped in with other people so called results. Glad I saw this video to stop me. The 5 so called super foods in this diet we all know should be our diet. All its done for me is to get back into using them and more veges.
Yes they are eveywhere. Which is why I like to try them out and help people decipher what’s worth the money and what’s not. And yes basically we all know we could probably do with eating more veggies.
Yes as being in the beauty and film industry and wellness. I been here for 3 weeks I lost 4 lbs and my stomach is going and gaining muscle. So I appreciate this and planning food is important.
I’m trying to sign up to get your free five day kicks start but I can’t put my email in…it has something in that area when I click to put email it takes me to something (?). Weird. Hopefully just a glitch. I’ll try to sign up another time. I want to watch more videos of yours 😊
Apologies for the late reply on this. I have just checked the page, and it seems to be working ok at the moment. Sorry if you have had issues. If you still haven't been able to join if you send me an email at info@emmacolseynicholls.com and I can sort that out for you.
Sorry, you don't look very healthy to me and compared to Meredith ummm... Yeah enough said. Also, I see you also have a fitness plan. Surprise Surprise! so your trashing your competition to hawk your own product.
We could all eat the same food and do the same exercises and we would all still have different bodies. Health and indeed happiness is more than what your body looks like. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Do you mean my kickstart plan. It’s not really a diet, more health and lifestyle habits to get started with. You can get that at emmacolseynicholls.co.uk/kickstart
