yeah he realy is the best. 2pac is good but he is mostly liked becaus he is dead. the lyrics eminem makes and how he can express them realy makes eminem the greatest ever. somone maby might take that spot in the future but for now there is not even anyone close to him.
@@rampage3337 tupac was the best at what HE did, you know what i mean? Theyre both rap but both so different. I dont think any of the greats can touch each other, they all changed the game for different but great reasons.
Being the greatest selling hip hop artist of all time I would say he has credit for sure. He's for sure known as one of if not the greatest wordsmiths to ever do it.
eminem is the best rap artist ever thankfully dr dre found him and gave him a chance cus eminem has gave us some amazing music for our ears over the years
@@Riley_187 I dunno how people can just say the whole community views Em as the GOAT. What about Pac, Biggie, Nas, Pun, Big L they are all talked about. But thx for insulting me for no reason.
@@fosso8803 No other hip hop artist has come close to Eminem. To simply state "no" as an answer to him being the goat is laughable. No other hip hop artist has come close to eminem in awards, sales... Basically every measurable way. Tupic and Biggie represent a golden era of hip hop, but realistically they can't touch Eminem. The only person that can top Eminems mantle is Dre... Without him hip hop would pretty much not exist, let alone Eminem not existing. Eminem is undoubtedly the GOAT.
Yeah, that brightness in most Eminem albums, that crystal clear production you can thank Dr. Dre's perfectionism. Dr. Dre wasn't just a instrumental maker, he was the brain behind that top quality production in all those first Eminem albums.
Love that you're open-minded, love that you pause the video instead of talking over it and missing stuff, love that you actually have things to say about the music other than exaggerated reactions or hollow praise or empty criticism. I don't usually love react channels but I'm gonna subscribe. :)
It was Jimmy Iovine's intern who "found" Eminem. Send this cassette to Jimmy and he heard it and was pretty impressed by it, who then again played it back to Dre who thought that Em was a black person. Later Dre called Em and asked him to visit his studio and the rest is history.
@@Tipi83 Dr Dre picked Eminem out of a bunch of tapes Jimmy Iovine had for him to go through. I think Jimmy was trying to give Dre anything to not get fired at that point since they both were struggling.
Just touching on the ‘accepted’ thing you spoke on. I believe that’s because he came from the depths of underground battling and earned that street cred before he eventually got his big break
Glad you liked it dude. If you find yourself bored “the slim shady lp”, “the marshal mathers lp”, “the eminem show” are debatedly the 3 greatest albums in history
Thank you for your reactions on songs of all artists!! Much appreciated! I'm not sure where you herd this beat before however Em wrote Detroit Red Wings them song to Stanley cup run one year...he rocked it with this same beat. Check it out! Thank you again for doing what you do...
I like how you brought up that he has credit in the rap culture and community. He definitely does! I think it’s because A - he’s really talented lyrically and B because Eminem is 100% himself and doesn’t act like anybody but himself. And that is what appeals to everybody from trailer park folks to outlaws and black folks. He’s got the frickin goods baby! And he never rode trends he did his own thing his way and I genuinely think that’s what made him famous. Love seeing this video from an outlaw perspective! Good shit!
Dre is the one who gave Em his start and produced Em albums. The guys at the end is his group D-12. He has been accepted by the Rap community. And by a lot of other Rappers, considered one of the Greatest of all time.
Lol, Eminem doesn't have SOME credit in the rap scene, he's arguably the best rapper there is. His use of language is a master craft. You may not hear it much in his earlier work but his grasp of complexe inner rhymes and how tempo and flow interacts with it is out of this world.
Not really all the beats... he has a major role on MMLP yeah but even on his first three albums Em actually has more production credits than Dre, and the bass brothers did a lot too
I liked that react just seen you the first time, nice one! Sense of humor is here 😁 Debbie is his mother he sued him for 10 million dollars because he called her a "happy lawsuit drug user" and dissed her many times on his records Greetings from Austria🌎
Listen to "Cleaning out my closet" if u wanna learn more about his and his mom's strained relationship. But just a few yrs ago, Eminem made "Headlights", where he's burying the hatchet with her. It's actually a really nice song.
You should react to Beautiful, also by Eminem. Its a very different site of him. Wrote it while he was at his lowest because of Drug Addiction. Its a powerful Song.
I'd like to see you react to some hip hop done by well accepted metalheads: Ice T, Tech N9ne, Ill Bill, Necro, Vinnie Paz. Ill Bill's original group Non Phixion's "The CIA Is Still Trying to Kill Me" (a remix to "The CIA is Trying to Kill Me") and Necro's "Evil Rules" has a lot of metal references.
I fucks with that TƏCH N9NE, that's my ish 💯 I believe is what the youth are saying these days... Bizzy Bone, Tha Dirty Wormz & (hed)P.E. too, I believe are a few extra, "classic examples" of how, certain aspects, of particular acts who were of, and/or even just around during/through that Era were the progeny of & basically just the allowance that I would certainly support as being a necessary factor for that next great movement to take and evolve, and how they (that next gen) sort of seemingly, just effortlessly shifted the direction of music so seamlessly, bridging innumerable gaps amid various counterculture, & even status quo, demographics, but as for the current idk wtf happened there... the words "mumble" & "rap" by all accounts, from my own personal perspective on the matter(s), are two words that are, absolutely & definitively contrary, regarding their core intent, but I digress... I've rambled, my apologies, Love, Peace & Chicken Grease ya'll 💟☮🐔🍗🛢
you can even see how comic books influenced Eminem and his love for comic book and making them more main stream. Now all you see is comic book characters in movies and tv shows
Yooo mate, really nice reaction video , first time on your channel, very respectful and rightly-minded, will come again ! You might want to drop an ear to Davodka's Fusée de détresse Peace out from France !
Metal Biker Dude: Who is Debbie? Is she someone I should know about? *Eminem just liked the video* And yes he is funny until someone says the H**** name then just hide...
I like how this guy talks about being able to hear and understand all of Em's words....That's just how Em raps...that is why he is the best....that is why he hates mumble rappers....
It's really nuts now looking back that close to 9/11 that Eminem had the balls to even joke about Osama and dress up like him, lmfaoo. Looking back on that now, I remember how fucking absolutely nuts he had to be to do that in that climate.
I am always amused by Dre's reaction when he sees Em in that costume. And in the car, it's that look of 'what in hell is this white boy doin?' Yea, Slim is the clown
This is exactly like what Joe Rogan was talking about in his skit about the de evolution of man. Imagine a caveman rediscovering downtown Phoenix, he comes out with his club and his buddy’s and there like, who built all this shit
You should also react to D12...a group Eminem was part of. It showed some of the members at the end of this video. Look up Fight Music....you'll see his best friend, Proof, who was shot and killed.
He wasn't being accepted in the game when he started out because of his "homophobic lyrics" as they said news and critics. Also the radios wouldn't play his songs. But soon he gained massive respect because of his versatility and unmatched lyrical ability. Truely a genius. 💯
