The so called melania easter egg strikes me more like a reference to the Qubeley from Gundam tbh. The drones around it being almost identical in apperance and actually identical in how they nest in the underside of the wings (even if the Qubeley had them stored in the rear armour flap

IBIS is the unholy love child of Silent Line's IBIS and Malenia. Honestly, the entire game had huge similarities to Silent Line's story and enemy designs. Also, the Moonlight was in Armored Core long before it was ever in a Souls entry. There's a Moonlight in every FromSoft game. Kind of like how AC games always have a Karasawa.

The Moonlight blade in AC6 isn't a callback to souls, the Souls Moonlight blade is a callback to Armored Core and Kings Field. Armored Core had the Moonlight Blade in every game before Demons Souls was even a twinkle in Miyazaki's eye. And also CEL-240 isn't a reference to Malenia, it's a reference to Qubeley from Gundam. Anyway, Rex isn't the first mech to ever have an arm cannon, and it's not even a unique design. This isn't a Rex reference.

That actually isn’t a reference to Malania but rather a Mobile Suite calledthe Quebele from Gundam and when I mean reference I mean the boss is just the exact same thing (if Bandai didn’t own both of them Fromsoft would be sued to hell and back)

Please. Stop. These things are not based on Elden Ring. The Moon light and CEL-240 have nothing to do with that game outside of sharing a studio. CEL-240, and the IBIS line in general, is a reference to the IBIS boss from Armored Core 3, which is a reference to Nine Ball Seraph. Armored Core 6 has A LOT of 3rd Generation Armored Core references. However, it is also derived very heavily from the Quebely from the Gundam franchise. Funnels (the use of a swarm of attack drones) has been a part of Armored Core since the start of AC2, and were largely inspired by Gundam making them one of the primary weapons of high end antagonists as far back as 1979. Both the CEL-240 and IBIS use funnels extensively. The Moonlight has been a staple of FROM games for longer than you've likely been alive, and been in every Armored Core game to date. Traditionally it is the hardest hitting blade in most games it appears in, though starting with Gen 4 they'd begun to try and make it more of a niche weapon to avoid invalidating the other blade choices in the game. That mech is the IA-05 WEEVIL. Go do the NG++ version of the Strider mission, if I recall they show up there. This isn't an Easter Egg. They're just a very old, coral powered model, so there's ancient wrecks of them here and there. Not be that guy but.. This is why AC Vets tend to gate keep against new-bros from the Souls community. It drives us up a wall to be treated like our thing is good because it stands in the shadow of your thing and apes at it. It is, in fact, the opposite way around.
