The loading screen may not be a big deal but it definitely sets a tone when you start playing the game. They should've went for something similar to the classic CQC loading screen

Is it just me, or does Big Boss' face in MGS Delta look very much alike to Solid Snake's "young" face camo from MGS4? It's pretty cool that they kept this detail for the sake of consistency

I do like the new menu screen button. But the CQC moves and music, just fitted so well. Tbh its just a small detail, i cannot wait to play this

Here's an add-on they didn't put in this "Master Collection". Konami also didn't add it to the HD Remaster for the PS3. To Put is Simply, and *"Duel Mode"* from the MGS3 Persistence Disc. I'd also like Snake Vs Monkey to be added from that disc too, but licensing issues may be a problem. Anyways, Konami could at the minimum make a DLC out "Duel Mode" from MGS3 Persistence. An Upgraded Online Mode would be nice too.

Reminds me of the infinite looping forest on the re4 remake title screen, really though I prefer the original title screen for mgs3, it was so much more interactive than standard title screens, changing the colours and scrolling patterns from memory

I love Metal Gear, but now that they don't have Hideo Kojima to direct it, I don't know if a new game would be able to capture the same feeling. I feel like a lot of the character that the series has came from Kojima's vision.

The dream scenario would be the MGS IP being sold to Kojima Productions, followed by the announcements of MGSV TPP Chapter 3, Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 remakes.

I'm glad the metal gear series is back in business. I will play every remake that comes out, but Metal Gear Solid Snake eater will always have a special place in my heart.

i think a metal gear solid 6 would require a new protag unless delta is going to be a series of remakes that recons parts of the story maybe bring back teliko and let us have some fun with ladder camera angles (: afaik she never really got much flushing out as a character being only in a non canon game

What would the story of a completely new metal gear game even be? 4 concludes the story, only place I could see a new game being inserted is between MGSV and MG1, or a complete remake of MG1 and 2 as actual 3d games.

I hope it will be like I think. That we are going to get Master Collection 2 and 3. The reason is this: because we got games from both the main series and from the NES collection last time (and two videos from PSP), I think Konami are trying go give us every single game in this collections, not only the main series. Then I hope we got games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid for Gameboy colour (Ghost Babel) and Metal Gear Acid in the next volume. And after that we are going to get games like Peace Walker and Portable Ops in volume 3. Plus every other games.

Big news from Konami is that they're supporting a release lf theirs beyond the launch date lol. Half-jokes aside, the intro looks good but I prefer the original and a Vol 2 will be great, especially if it allows people to play MGS4 on a system other than PS3 and in 1080p+. I just cannot imagine how they'd do it without some real shortcuts that may hinder the accuracy if they had issues replicating 2 and 3 perfectly. Even now it takes a solid PC and a bunch of additional hacks to emulate it...and even then there are issues. Though, a release at all likely means a PS3 emulator that can be datamined for other use on modded consoles so...😊

Phyton, kinda off topic, but, do you think Kojima had plans to include Solidus Snake, Jack the ripper, Gray Fox etc. In Mgsv? I mean, the location (Africa) and the years match, so where are them? Do you believe in Kojima's words when he says that MGSV was exactly as he intended it to be and that it is complete? Or was he just being diplomatic towards Konami, and Kojima's full vision was held off by Konami? All those issues with Konami surely must've heavily affected the development of the game right? I hope you can read this, cause I have some video suggestions/request for you, as probably the best mgs channel. -All the cut content from mgsv (including rumors such as a boss battle against Skull Face) -Why MGSV have no boss battles (and potential boss battles that could've happened on MGSV) -Why does Venom Snake punches the mirror? Does he punch it because he feels betrayed by BB, he sees himself as a demon, and doesn't want to be like Big Boss, or does he punch it because he fully embraces his role, and by breaking the mirror, he's erasing his old identity to become Big Boss? -Do you think there's still room in the mgs chronology? (Let's pretend that Kojima it's still involved and Konami never messed up) I've always thought there's room for at least 2 more canonical games. 1 set between Mgs2 and mgs4, including Solid Snake, Otacon and Raiden as protagonists, main plot could be something about saving Sunny or something like that. 2 another mgs title right after MGSV, the story revolving around Venom, Big Boss, Miller, Ocelot, Eli, Solid, Solidus, Gray Fox and maybe even Jack the ripper. The story could revolve about Venom vs Big Boss, Miller says he will take the phantom (venom) and his sons, to make them stronger and destroy big boss. There's moral conflict between Big Boss and Venom Snake, one man sold the world, and the other refuses to kill children, so he fosters them, he saves animals, and dismantles Nukes. There's a reason why Big Boss sends Solid Snake to kill Venom right? Thanks for anyone reading this.

Just curious, is Ghost Babel in this collection? Obviously no one would complain if it wasn’t but I do have fond memories playing that on my GBC back in the day. I never actually did beat it lol. Had my Dad do it for me. Oh I also didn’t see “Twin Snakes” listed. Probably some legal issues getting that one🤔. The collection is jam packed the way it is.

The new one almost feels like it's Resident Evil 4's Remake inspired. Both are, however, Japanese though!

That's Good News, I guess. I've been clamoring for an HD Version of MGS1 back in the PS3 days. I don't want the Master Version of MGS4 to be mostly 30 Frames Per Seconds. 😡 I want it 60.

I hope Snake's face is fixed. He looks considerably more like a caveman than his original 3D model. I know his character design is based on a guy that looks similar to the new design, but obviously a lot of his popularity was based on the old 3D model, not on the face of an actor the players had to google to know about. I say I hope it's fixed, but I would prefer if you could switch between the new model and a more faithful model in the settings, that way both types of fans are accounted for. I hope you can change the title screen design back to the CQC cutscene in the settings. While the theory of the title screen progressing with story progression sounds cool, the CQC thing is far too iconic to be left out.

I really hope Delta keeps the whole video thing that happens before the CQC thing on the original version.

I just want metal gear solid 4, haven’t played that game since 2012, been too long. Excited for the remake of 3 but man I’d love a remake of 1, or even the twin snakes

I'm not sure I'd call already established upcoming remasters and remakes huge news. A reimagining of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 and/or Rising 2 would be huge news.

MGS4 alone is a worthwhile wait for me, it was my first Metal Gear, I barely understood the ins and outs of the story, but man oh man was it fucking cool and as I've seen in various other games, ahead of its time!

Probably the one thing I can actually give Konami credit for is bringing David hayter back into the fold.

After vol. 2, what will completely wrap up the saga is metal gear & metal gear 2: solid snake redone ground zeroes/phantom pain "style" on the unreal engine...along with another spin-off about raiden becoming cybernetic & saving sunny from the patriots...

this year is for One Piece fans which related about Dragon year Tenryu Gorosei & Dragon rev army. next year is Snake year, so i might think that MGS will be released in 2025.

Look, it’s nice we are getting these remakes but, what we need is a true Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake remake-REMADE!! It’s sooooo funny that between The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Solid, you have 2 NES/MSX games that drag down the story because of hello, digital pixels, 8 bit graphics that doesn’t gel the entire narrative of the story. I need those 2 games today, STAT!!!

Since snake eater is my favorite, I'm almost completely getting by on Delta being great. Still though, I hope there can possibly be a new MGS game altogether in the mainline series.

Not sure how anybody can be excited for Konami's subpar horseshite. Knowing their motives, their morale and level of interest in making proper games, we should be looking forward to their bankrupcy and not supporting their avarice. Delta looks like a generic "MGS3 on Unreal engine" demo, zero visual stylization. Silent Hill was killed 20 years ago and now they're trying to humiliate its legacy for a quick buck. Why let them?
