I think its the lighting. The old version doesnt have that realistic lighting so you can make out more details wither her face. Which is probably why her hair looks less blonde etc

I think the upper nose distance between the eyes was shorter in the original, she also had more pronounced cheekbones, lips thicker and a kind of less wide jaw I believe.

I think The Boss knew who "Tatyana" really was and knew she would intervene. Alternatively, she planned for Ocelot to kill her if Snake couldn't.

Obviously there's time for them to tweak how things look, but with that said. If this were the final look, I can't complain that much. I think everything so far looks really good. It seems like they'red i'm trying to stay as faithful as they can to everything, so I am cautiously optimistic.

this is how to do a remake: copy-paste from the original game , unless even konami want to fail miserably like capcom did with the supposed "remakes" of resident evil 3 and 4 , understood ? a remake as suck must simply copy-paste the original game with an upgraded graphic , nothing more , if developers have so much new ideas they can implement them in a NEW game , so far the best remake ever done is spyro reignited trilogy , while those of resident evil 3 and 4 can't even be definied the worse remakes because that would be a compliment since those two aren't a remake in the first place , a proof that developers themselves know they did a damn mess with resident evil 3 and 4 is that demo from the "remake" or resident evil 4 , they mocked everyon with a demo where they had the common sense of copy-paste the phase of the village , but the rest of the game is completely different , so again, they know they did a mistake , otherwise they wouldn't feel like use that subterfuge

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops is definitely cannon it's the original games remastered. Metal Gear & Solid Snakes Revenge. They just slightly changed the storyline to make it more modern since those games came out in the 80's . They felt nobody would bother to play them .

When I saw The Boss in the trailer, I got emotional. Just knowing her history, and what she is going through at this point, and what is to happen. I thought they captured her amazingly well. On PS2, I always found that she looked unhappy and conflicted, and we eventually found out why. The Delta version to me captures that look, but the nose go down, she has a seriousness about her that someone like the Boss will maintain despite their emotional conflict. Hideo Kojima is the designer, and he would have the idea of who he thought the Boss best fits, but it doesn't mean it has to follow said trend. It's like, the remake casted a different actor.

With all the details being rendered simultaneously im afraid this game would be buggy af 😢 best remake would be shadow of the colossus and dark souls ps5
