@@haseo_ man Rob is a part of infectious grooves and was a part of suicide silence. Both bands require a higher technical level than anything Metallica has ever done
@@ikon4255 No he is right. Rob is technically wayyyyyy better player and a musician than Cliff. He is the best musician in the band at the moment easily.
@@jii-ro7083 i dont mean to be rude but thats the dumbest shit ive ever heard you have no way to prove that, cliff was taught throughout middle and highschool by a pro jazz bass player, cliff also wrote the entirety of the masterpiece orion along with performing some of the best fills ive heard live.
Whenever i watch live Metallica i just can't come back to other metal bands where everyone just stands still. They simply have so much energy and creativity, the way they interact during stage.
For whom the HEY tolls . Maters hey puppets. Ride hey lightning . St.HEY . Hey justice for all . HEYtallica MotorHey James HEYfield Kirk Heymett And so on
@@lori47 hey thank you very much. It's so crazy looking back to when I wrote this only 8 months ago. Things have changed so much. I'm actually doing really good now. Thank you for your comment
0:46 Rob: Lars, What are you doing? Lars: pointing everyone without an especific reason, and you? Rob: I'm walking like a gorilla, wanna try? Lars: mmmmmmmmmm... Why not?
i had a neighbor playing polka loud one early morning this was years ago, so I returned he favor and played Metallica and Ac/dc on 4 hrs at bedtime, and then didn't bother to answer the door when police came, nothing they can do, they can't give you a ticket if your not home or don't answer the door hint hint!
Been a fan since “Kill ‘em All” but never was blessed enough to see Cliff. I play this, close my eyes and I can see Cliff on stage. Trujillo is a master of Cliff’s style.
You haven’t watched enough live Metallica vids. Every mic stand has a separate pick holder with a lot of picks. Hetfiled keeps tossing his picks to make hand gestures to keep the vibe high. He is in god level while on stage
@@eht___ne it's a natural harmonic (sounds like 7th fret on the B) followed by going ape shit on the whammy bar. Takes a little practice to get it perfect, but it sounds sweet
Make his fight on the hill in the early day Constant chill deep inside Shouting gun, on they run through the endless grey On they fight, for they're right, yes, but who's to say? For a hill, men would kill, why? They do not know Stiffened wounds test their pride Men of five still alive through the raging glow Gone insane from the pain that they surely know For whom the bell tolls Time marches on For whom the bell tolls Take a look to the sky just before you die It's the last time you will Blackened roar, massive roar fills the crumbling sky Shattered goal fills his soul with a ruthless cry Stranger now are his eyes to this mystery Hears the silence so loud Crack of dawn, all is gone except the will to be Now they see what will be, blinded eyes to see For whom the bell tolls Time marches on For whom the bell tolls
2:01 Robert: ''HEY! Let's groove!'' Kirk: *Starts to groove with him* Also Kirk: *Seconds after:* ''Nah.'' Robert: ''Ight. Imma head out then.'' Epicly walks away*
when this video came out, it showed up in recommended and introduced me to metallica and inspired playing guitar in a whole. i’m definitely a new fan but i love the band and their music🤘
This is probably my favorite performance of this song with Robert. Favorite one with Jason was Woodstock 94. Favorite one with Cliff was Day on the Green.
Rob: so James, uh I was wondering if I could do the “hey” part for the song do you think I could just do it? James: sure kid just don’t think about stealing my YEAH YEAH
WarPaint 47 dude Kirk is basically are Brian May lmao and your acting like he isn’t good and sorry this band is from the 80s lmao so calm down old timer
From Cliff head banging in bell bottoms at Day on the Green, to my 1st time seeing Robs crab crawl at Big Day Out in Australia, I love this song, especially when it's live, as it gives a spot light to the bass!!!
