Bob clearly says 'This thing YOU did for Kirk is amazing.' So clearly Lars put the whole thing together. And i think his 'tantrum' is just his messed up sense of humor. Even when doing something nice for the band he has to find a way to bust everyone's balls lol. Classic Lars if you ask me.
Lars is in good form here. Shows his humour and sarcasm (which is genuinely funny) but also how he's a thoughtful friend (as he put this whole thing together).
Even if Lars wasn't joking, there's nothing wrong with feeling neglected or treated unfairly by your friends. Any one of us would feel hurt if we never got the same kind of attention or care from our friends that we give them. Don't act all high and mighty.

Your 40th is like the last real bday you will ever have. Trust me. Embrace it. I was utterly embarrassed until I just embraced the embarrassment, put on the stupid hat they gave me, had a cocktail (or five), and enjoyed the childlessness of it all. It was a great birthday. I felt like a kid again. A drunk happy little kid. 😀

Kirk is the coolest ever man I swear he deserved better it was only ever James or his wife that would match his positivity. No wonder he’s so close with Rob. I’m glad him and James have got closer in 2021 and 2022 because they always had that true connection. I love Lars but he needs to realise how great Kirk is.
