95% of HR Blockhead employees are number typers, simply entering the numbers off the various forms that customers provide to them. They know no more Tax law than the average person. Their fees are exorbitant.
I went to one of those tax preparing classes for a different company. I was horrified with the lack of preparation and emphasis on charging up fees for additional forms and sometimes the 'wink-wink' ways to increase the refund. Didn't stick around to get the job offer.
@4my2kids79 That doesn't really invalidate what he's saying at all though. Let's be real. The chances of them having a legitimate reasonable reason for not having a debit card is low. Sure, they could choose to be unranked. But that again doesn't invalidate his criticism.
@@PrinceOfOpinionor maybe they have a bank account there are many reason why they could have decided not to use there bank account example 1 H&R Block offered a cash incentive to use their car and if you wanted the cash advance they offered it had to be that card
Just throwing this out there some companies given incentive for you to use their card sometimes what happens especially with H&R Block is they will deposit your money faster on their prepaid card then they will as far as you getting a direct deposit so that is why people do it? I know this because I’ve had my taxes done by them before they will actually guarantee your deposit. Will be on that card three days to a week earlier
Department of Justice needs to audit that business; if it that happened so easily it could be an ongoing scam and probably not the first time it happened
@oliverkenneth with tech and AI accounting and tax industry is going to be reduced. All those simple return will be easier addressed automatically... on a email confirmation will be need to be signed. And the complex businesses and investments will be addressed daily by tech. The first to go will be those simple preparers like h and r. And those nonfilers will be addressed timely by A I. Because tech will be able to address them indirectly by consumer purchases. If someone is consuming 50k with their own resources a tax bill will be issued by email or text. Tech will also show tax payer documents by satellite showing all the cars he worked on in his backyard. All show all the cash app he received. It will all be stored in the air ready for proof Tech will be able to easily download all receipts time of purchase and all locations as well. Block chain and tech will have all the back up. Eventually big 4 and cpa and ea will transform and be reduced as an industry Government and accounting industry will work together but eventually the industry will lose out or be transformed But the same is true for warehouse workers and manufacturers with robots Engineering and architecture with ai and robots Robots and tech will be building actual buildings and houses and facilities and storage units etc Robots will make fast food and coffee and ice cream and pizza etc. And work restaurants and deliver take out packages in flying drones
Debit card had that 7,000 somebody in on the scam cloned the card or knew the numbers and info on it. This probably could have been avoided if it was direct deposited into checking or savings that’s just my theory

I’m Saying😂 it was gd for me while it lasted. however I can do without the kids. My last one just became semi grown cos he still learning at 18. I just don’t understand why they opted for the card wit so much fraud going on in this world
This seems to be a new scam with tax prepare in 2024. This happened to me & 14 others, all from the same tax prepare in Elgin Illinois. We all need help..
This is a common theme. It’s happened to many, those cards were being exposed and it was not the fault of the card holder but the issuer of the card look it up.
NEVER use h and r block. When I worked to the bank, h and r block was writing checks to individuals that could not be cashed because there was no money in the account.
Does the H&R Block card not have a chip? If it doesn't, that makes cloning a cinch. Also, high probability of insiders being the culprits. Could be at the tax prep place or somehow connected to the card issuer. Not reassuring. Better to have funds direct deposited to a regular bank account. Safer, since prepaid debit cards have less consumer protections. Many banks offer second chance accounts for those with past banking problems.
I haven’t seen a refund check since my husband died. I have to pay them. They will not let a person get a head. Bye America, might as well start the grieving process now. Our once great country is on its way to being a 3rd world country.😢😢
