Metro: Last Light - Review 

this games really badass btw I played it and beat it a while ago

+Dr. Zoidberg Nope,you just need to think harder.

She is saying that the kids of their time won't know how to operate trains because they never learned how. And in time when those kids have kids, the kind of magical technology that we had to create trains and operate them will make them feel like gods built them.

+Jeremy Lewis I understand this is what they were going for, but the way she says it, "they will think these trains were built by gods..." (or something like that) means the kids or grandkids wouldn't know about trains. Here's my point. Since you DO know about trains, why not just teach the children? There's not much else to do in the Metro. You may as well try to preserve our history/knowledge and educate the children. I suppose she means centuries from now. Was the game written in English? Perhaps something is lost in translation? idk

+Dr. Zoidberg : It is what is. But you don't have to take her literally. It could be a exaggerated point "and their kids will PROBABLY think these were built by Gods." Don't take it literally but see the poeticism in it. She was just being observant and philosophical that these great man-made machines exist but zero existence of an environment, factory or otherwise that could possibly build something like them again in such hostile and volatile remains. If anything I think it's great writing. :)

The takes place 20 years after an apocalypse, so the first generation of survivors were those who saw the world before the nukes. (Meaning some have specialized skills that could only have been learned in undestroyed universities) The character is saying that later generations won't ever have seen anything about the world before the war and as such won't know about how and where the tech and world came from
