"not good enough to compete" is one of the silliest things you can say. there is no skill floor to go to fighting game events and no one is going to be mad at you for being new. hell itd be exactly the opposite, people love new players!
@@catsnake9842 my friend who has never touched a GameCube controller until a week ago destroys people on slippi unranked by just standing there and shielding/throwing out tilts. The people on slippi are dogshit, dashing back and forth predictably and wave landing does nothing if you have no brain and the other player is willing to exploit that.
I've been a permanent claw player for ages in shooters, but this hurts my hand to watch. It's way more strenuous (for me at least) to rapidly switch grips while playing, yeesh.
@@EA_SP0RTCENTER GameCube controller feels weird to claw in general. The face buttons are weird to quick tap with my pointer. I much prefer clawing for Xbox, PlayStation, etc
I honestly don't see how a funky controller can help your gameplay.The joycons work just fine, the grip is a privilege. Needing an expensive controller just to play one game just sounds like entitlement
