We have got ourselves a MG5 Long Range (61.1 kWh) Excite! This is the start of Our EV journey as a family with and electric car! The plan with this channel is to answer some of the questions people might have about EV's from a family perspective.

The BMW driver obviously didn’t like being out-accelerated by an MG, undertaking you then racing past to overtake the lorry. Came across your channel some time after you started so I’m working my way through them all.. I don’t own a car, but would love an electric car… sadly I’ll never ever own one. 😢

Just over 2 weeks ago I also traded in my Jazz for an MG5 LR Excite, so this looks like the channel for me to follow. :) I can relate to everything you said in this video - I also like to keep a low profile. I'm looking forward to seeing how your experience of owning the car matches up to mine.

I just acquired a damaged MG5 LR and in the process of fixing. As my channel name suggests, It'll be transporting kayaks so I'll probably make a little video on how that affects range once its mobile. I've not yet found any videos on the topic with loads on the roof.

these mg electric cars are upsetting the car world and big companies need to look at them and realise you get alot of car for the money. id sooner have a mg5 or the mg hs than a tesla anyday. bring it it on well done guys a proper review of things you do like and dont like a proper review. kids happy so all good

8:00 Typical BMW driver. They really don't like their egos dented when you beat them away from the lights. Happens to me loads in my MG5 😁

@@OurEvUK No only a week. I think you should do a video on a comparison of the Excite vs the Exclusive. To see if the extra money is worth it. Also I went on MG's website and it seem they have stopped making the Excite and Exclusives, there is a new shape and its SE and Trophy

Yes they've stopped selling rhe current models and they are now taking preorders on the new face-lift version. I would like to compare the excite and exclusive at some point!

What range do you get from the car?

There is a temperature displayed, when you turn the the heat up or down the temp is shown to the right hand side of the HVAC display. Well it does on mine?

Do you have the exclusive? I think you have climate control but the excite doesn't.

Just come back from a camping trip myself! I should have taken a photo as there was only my wife and myself and we still filled the boot and back seats! Although we didn't fill the boot up to the roof. I have a Handi-hold-all from Handiworld which I will need to try at some point, the inflatable roof rack beams actually fit under the cars roof bars and go across the car the fixing straps go into the car to secure in place.
