Well said. As a 52 year old, I am far less judgmental than I use to be. Divorced for eleven years now. No kids, live alone in log cabin on North Shore of Prince Edward Island. Good paying job, heat with wood, Twenty two raised garden beds, two greenhouses. Yup Im happy. 100% agree with what you spoke about.

I have been single since january. it was the end of a 14 year relationship. it all came crashing down and she left on 3 days notice. (No, I'm not abusive. I only on one occaision so much as raised my voice at her in almost 15 years). At the time it all fell apart and she was moving out I felt like it was the worst thing that could have ever happened to me. Now 7 months later I can say that I have a lot more focus in my life and it feels great. I've dated a few women since, and I'll tell you, gentlemen, dating sucks.

I'm over 70 years old. My whole life was filled with others telling me what I should do. I could maybe consider the advice from someone smarter or more accomplish than I. Yet all these fuckers were losers, and only wanted to drag me down into the gutter that they were in. Those who tell you what to do are actually jealous of you. Like the bully; it makes them feel better about their own pathetic lives. I learned to be a MGTOW 40 some years ago. I preferred to go my own way, and do my own thing rather than be held back by some woman. I never had a relationship. After my attempts to start a relationship, in less than one hour she started whining about her needs and telling me what I should do. No matter what I did, it wasn't good enough for daddy's little princess. After catering to her immediate desire, she made more demands.

I'm always happy to hear what you have to say. I'm sorry to say I'm a guy who would have liked to have a family if it were safe to do so. I saw how that shit works though, back in 1997 (17 years ago), did the math and I couldn't ignore the fact that participating in marriage these days is totally friggen crazy. But yes, I'm one of those guys who would have married and would have had a great time helping my kids discover their talents and what gives them joy in the lives. But under these conditions, nope, I just can't do it. I disagree with you though, when you say I'd be likely to tell you to "man up" if marriage suddenly became fair and safe for men. I'm sorry you've gotten so much crap from guys like that. I've got an extra 14 bucks in my bitcoin wallet that's got your name on it. speaking of your self worth as a man, I remember my mother shaming me every time I would bounce from job to job, saying that "I had no future" blah blah blah, and most of the time it was because it was out of my control, so yeah unfortunately you are brought up to believe that if you are not a contributor to society, whatever that means, then your worth as a man is nothing.

Man, your talk about the health part really got to me. I mean about 4 years ago I almost died of SLE (lupus for those who watch House). And after this incident I've been living with the disease and trying to manage it. Now the problem to me is that it fucks with my brain to some extent. If I'm well rested and don't stress too much I really have no problem with it. But if I have to endure long periods of mental work I just get an intolerable brain fog. Like I might be looking at a simple calculation that anyone should be able to solve and know that the thing is fucking easy but the brain just refuses to cooperate. And yeah, this thing has been quite hard on my sense of self-worth as I'm starting to realize that I'm probably never going to be able to hold a steady job and the symptoms would be really easy to just dismiss as laziness.

I can see that you are not a rat race person at all; you need your space, no authority figure telling you what to do, not doing shit you don't want under pressure,... I can see myself in what you say; the rat race also makes me sick. I think that you, like me, are a creative type of person who needs to live doing what you want having a sense of space. I totally support you on looking for less stressful and less "successful" path and your video clarify my own doubts about it (theses pressures to "be someone").

I believe that this is the next challenge that we MGTOW, who view the MGTOW philosophy/lifestyle as something much greater than some pathetic tradcon protest, must address. The challenge: How not to merely survive outside the unhealthy, dehumanizing systems that currently exist for men who merely want to earn a living, but to thrive outside these systems. The solution, I think, can only be found in our willingness to support each other, as women have always done for each other, at the exclusion of all others. Of course men find this idea repugnant on a guttural level - we bristle at the thought of leaning on each other - except, oddly enough, when we are serving as fucking canon fodder in the service of preserving those same systems that exploit us, that rob our time, our resources, our creative energy and impulse, our health, our happiness, and our longevity. Men do not need women - this has never been more true than it is today. Men do need other men - this has always been true. The latter is not an admission of weakness - it's an admission of strength. Women demand. Men do. It's time for men to do for themselves and each other. It's time for men to stop undermining men for the benefit and favor of women. MGTOW is where this begins, because there is no other place and there never has been.

nope, even if I were given 100 percent total control in a marital contract with no risk of losing any money or assets, I still would not get married or have kids, once again the maximum amount of freedom to do what I want to do is the most important thing to me, I have always been MGTOW, its just that great minds like Barbarossa and Stardusk have helped me to understand the reasons why I am, I have always had this inner survival sense that was always telling me that the current living environment is hostile towards men and that it was best to keep to myself and its like Stardusk said "once you take the red pill aka the reality check there is just no going back" I am not going to slave my life force away for the benefits of others, I want to do the things that make me content and be healthy and vibrant while doing them for the rest of my days, great video Stardusk, as always I look forward to more and never feel guilty about taking donations, you've more than earned them IMO

How can you "fix" a system that can't work anyway? What is a heterosexual marriage? A sacred institution created by God? Gimme a break! When and where did this custom originate? Beyond the short-lived physical attraction, how can a man and a woman who are psychologically and emotionally incompatible live together day after day, year after year? Men want to be free to follow their passions like research, history, woodworking, auto restoration, carpentry etc. Woman want to be amused and entertained. Do we despise women? Or do we despise their behavior? That is their nature. Do we despise a poisonous snake for having fangs and venom? Do we despise a scorpion for having a stinger?

Well said, I've lived with little sleep all of my adult life, my average sleep is 4 to 5 hours. Every 5 maybe 6 days i'll get 6 to 7 in a kind of drugged coma, I often wake up feeling like it might have been better to just not bother, i could have used the time more wisely by reading a book since i'm more tired after sleep than i was before. Clearly I'm getting more sleep than you and mine is largely unbroken which does allow me to get through my working day and hide from those around me that i'm in an almost permanent state of exhaustion. This has been my life for as long as I can remember. I can't really begin to imagine how bad it must be for you to be so much worse than me. Can't even imagine how you survived as i'm barely hanging on most weeks. Those people who tell you to man up need to just shut the **** up and move on out of here, they are in the wrong space. I ended up watching content like yours after a divorce. I'm not your kind of MGTOW. I miss being in a relationship but have discovered that i'm perfectly capable of living alone and have happily done so for 18 months now. If I ever end up back in a relationship I will be much better armed against the opposite sex because I listened to your, and others, content. I will live "MY" life now, someone can walk along by my side for a while if they choose to sign a cohabitation agreement but as soon as their path goes a different direction than mine they will be walking it with someone else. I will live "MY LIFE" they can join me if they complement and improve my life but I will no longer alter my path to please/keep someone else happy. I've estranged a few friends with this mentality but was surprised to have vastly improved one friendship because of it. I am at peace with my lot, I hope you find some measure of peace in yours. I appreciate what you give us for free. Thank you sir, i tip my hat to you.

Its just words... and words can be quite deceiving. Lots of people are pissed now because, in the internet era, its hard to control narritives. Individualist men or MGTOW or otherwise people with constructive criticism will never be appealling to the critical mass of people. With that established, its easier to go your own way. First of all I can sort of sympathize, my damn 9-5 has sometimes gotten me into the position of taking work home and I can confirm that after a few all-nighters at the computer you start becoming an automaton, just living to turn in your tasks and fuck any other personal pursuits you had. And as for the MGTOW, I agree that there are diametrically opposed viewpoints. IMHO, the more politically minded folk usually start on message then inevitably go into minarchism, tradcon values, identity politics and all that right-winger jazz; they start from a political platform and *then* get MGTOW because it sounds attractive, but the second their goals are met they'll get rid (and I use the term purposefully) of all the "useful idiots". On the other hand, there are people like me, who sort of became MGTOW before watching a single bar bar, Stardusk or manwomanmyth vid, or listening to a single Tom Leykis show. Those of us who made the sum in our heads and saw that following the socially prescribed path would sort of put you into a hamster wheel: working your ass off, financing a family and all for an occasional blowjob given begrudgingly. Those of us like this were completed by the MGTOW message and appreciate its variety; why would we ever criticize any individual man for choosing what he will do with his life? I'm not about freeing myself from the socially mandated and pro-female slavery to just become a workhorse for a future tradcon patriarchy (oh gods I said the P word!).

Just getting out of a crazy narcissistic abusive relationship (nearly a false DV claim and a colossal episode of insane physical assaulting) and this is a breath of fresh air with nuances I had not expected. I have had a brutal childhood and repeated abandonment by caretakers and that revolving door has left me extremely vulnerable to male predation as a utility pig at work and as a workhorse with the women. I'm gifted physically as good looking and tall and intelligent, a rare combo among Asian Americans, yet I lean on these attributes quite heavily. The part in the beginning about MGTOW really being men who wouldn’t marry under these circumstances really got to Me. I am one of those guys who wanted to get married for years. But I think it’s valid to WANT that because it’s what you’ve been taught and to later regret it after you learn more about the world. Would I want to get married if society changed? I think not. There’s too much individuality I’d have to give up. But I really got me thinking and I’m glad I didn’t run into a video making talking points I would agree 100% on

As soon as I realised that women don't love men I stopped caring, because most men who have worked all there life's, got jobs, etc genuinely genuinely believe there girlfriends and wife's love (them) the same way they do, until they stop 'doing' then there 'loving' women are gone, I'm young and I'm listening to these older guys ideas and I think that the juice isn't worth the squeeze, once the idea of love left me so did my old blue pill fantasy that I still find my younger peers fall victim too

Stardusk, thank you for your work. I had chronic prostatitis for many years. Up all night. My symptoms were dismissed by several doctors here. I went to Dr. Polacheck in Tucson. Arizona. He has since retired. He set me on a protocol of antibiotics and manual drainage that I carried through with my hometown doctor for 18 months. Now with periodic self drainage I maintain and only get up once or twice each night. I'm 61. It might be something for you to consider.

2:14 What I’ve noticed is that young women are seeing their mothers, and other older women without a man, in dire straits. Now the older women can’t find a suitable man and their support payments are running out. Sure, they can find sex partners, or have short-term relationships, but that’s about it. In short, they’re f*cked. So the younger women are beginning to re-think the situation. We know that according to surveys, in the past, more men wanted to get married then women, but now it’s completely reversed. It’s a curious state of affairs but, frankly, I don’t care what the hell they do either. Even most of today’s younger women have a egotistical streak to them and the laws aren’t being changed.

John Bliss 5 years, not ten, literally 2020 brother. the peanut gallery of old women yapping to young girls ''go with a man with things, find a man with substance, or ''he isn't good enough for you' will all fall on deaf ears, the coming crop of girls currently in 7th grade will see the current crop of 24 year olds as they (the teens) turn 20 and the 24 year olds turn 30 and inherit nothing from men by n large and learn that only desperate boys care about 30 year old women with good jobs or really old men almost 50, I myself am 40 and wont talk to girls over 22 and I pass for 28 all the time with girls n women. give it 5 more years, and it starts, but yes within ten years the world will be filled with old girls of say thrity who have never looked better, never been more eduated, never been fitter, never been more generous n wealthy that no man wants as a first choice, once this is collective knowledge society is gonna change, were seeing the death rattle of women having the influence of girls today, its all dying out and as they fight for life is seems like they might get more life, in reality its simply the emasculation of women and its long overdue , adult kids with uterus's are not granted free pass's anylonger, men are gowing up also. its a great time to be alive, all hallmark quasi love is getting its ass beaten as it should.

The irony of folks telling you to man up is they are the ones who are not overcoming their own biases, living in middle earth mentality fitting in where they feel comfortable. If they set aside the external and focused on discovering self realistically and how to develop a true self that transcends physical limitations, societal expectations and ignorance they would realize it is the more arduous path yet reaps the greatest reward. In reality you manned up as an individual, they haven't.

To weigh in on a couple of the issues raised here: (1) I find it difficult to imagine that the expanding gynocracy will cease to expand. Just because a few men are declining to marry, women aren't going to all of a sudden start playing nice. (2) There's a fundamental contradiction between MRAs and MGTOW. MRAs believe that the system can be changed; MGTOW are convinced that it can't be changed. That doesn't mean that we can't cooperate with MRAs in certain contexts, but at some point we're going to be in conflict. (3) If MGTOW doesn't mean separatism, it doesn't have any concrete meaning at all. (4) Men's and women's natures have not changed. Social and economic conditions have changed, and those changes have enabled women to seek social dominance.
@lawshorizon
@lawshorizon 10 лет назад
1. Unfortunately things wont change until women are directly effected (like more women paying alimony or palimony then men or losing assets to exes). 2. I'm all for the MRAs trying -- but their fighting an uphill battle. However, it's good to get the issues out there because there's a chance it may help men in the long run. 3. MGTOW means lack of participation in areas that are either unfair to them or to their detriment (e.g. marriage contract). 4. Human nature is partly cultural and partly an inherited nature (say, half and half). Culture needs to drift towards and match the best parts of human nature in order to create a perfect balance -- as long as that nature is constructive rather then destructive. If the greedy and destructive part of human nature is fed and nurtured then humans will go extinct. ... Women aren't so much interested in social dominance but rather in money. Pay them off and they'll go along with anything. They'll keep voting for male politicians, for example, as long as they get more then their share of the goodies.
@Zagg777
@Zagg777 10 лет назад
lawshorizon 1. I just don't see those things happening.Women are a majority of the population in Western countries, they group-identify much more strongly than do men. Along with their white knight allies, they'll control the political agenda in electoral democracies. 2. I support the MRM too, if for no other reason than that they bring men's issues to the attention of other men. 3. MGTOW is not yet a clearly defined term, and perhaps never will be. I don't see anything less than avoidance of social relationships with women as having much of a future as a movement. 4. Nature and nuture are hard to disentangle, but many of the differences between humale males and females are not specific to us, but are seen in almost all mammals. I'm less certain than you are that women can just be bought off. A great many women just don't like men very much and want to live lives independently of them. They're pretty sure they can get the goodies without men. They might not be correct about that, but they'll tear society down trying.
@lawshorizon
@lawshorizon 10 лет назад
Zagg777 Well, the hard-core feminist types are the ones with the loudest voices. However, in the minority, but they unfortunately have the ear of those in high places.
@Zagg777
@Zagg777 10 лет назад
***** 1. Clearly we have different limitations in our imaginings. 2. They share a strong area of concern: the condition of men in gynocentric society. But they differ widely in strategy. MRAs. say reform the system. MGTOW say the system can't be reformed; withdraw from it. 3. Anything that means eveything means nothing. If a male radical feminist proclaims that he's going his own way, that implies that radical feminism is MGTOW. That's not a program that has a much of a future.

I can really relate to this video. I started working at age 20 in IT and worked very hard for 13 years whilst living the traditional life of the workhorse provider. My whole identity was my job, my girlfriend and what other people wanted me to be. That all changed for me when I took that first trip to Thailand in 2012. I realized I didn't even know who I really was or what I really stood for. I was living for others but I was not in touch with myself. My experiences in Thailand made me realize that I wanted a different life - I wanted to do my own thing and learn who and what I was independent from my job. It has been a very confronting process and has changed all the relationships in my life. Everyone I know has seen the changes in me and they relate to me very differently than before. I am a different person in their eyes. I am different - I have engaged in activities that have stirred up very strong emotions which have made me reevaluate my life and I have put myself on a very different path. Just last night I made up a spreadsheet of my friends and put them into "mainstream" and "non mainstream". I have 17 non mainstream friends and 46 mainstream friends. The non mainstream friends are the ones who have had the largest impact on my life over the past 2 years. I also have around 303 subscribers on my RU-vid channel. They have also had an impact. A workplace councilor told me that my values are different to the values of those around me and that is why I am having the issues I am having. My values have changed as a result of my relationships in Thailand waking me up to who I really am. It is time for me to change my environment. I will most likely become an ex-pat and move to Thailand. Most men stick their heads in the sand, go to work, earn a living, support wife and kids and don't allow themselves to consider anything else. My old man was like this his whole life. It was his sacrifice essentially that allowed me the luxury of discovering who I really am. But it is like opening Pandora's box.

No one can decide what makes you happy, not even yourself. You can't decide what makes you happy, what you like and what you enjoy, those things you just find out. As an example: imagine the first time you walked up to an ice cream truck, and bought the first cone of liquorice ice cream. When you taste it for the first time, is it your decision whether you like or not? Or will you be suprised like "mmm this is goood!" When you realize this, you'll see how other people's demands are absurd and how misguided they are about themselves and others. People really can't judge other people's preferences, what they like etc, because that's just who they are. Judgemental people are just idiots (yeah;) Sure you can fight who you are or pretend to be something else, but why would you? For what? Because someone else says so? Would they do the same for you? No point pleasing others at the cost of your own happiness. Just be who you are, do what you do, like what you like. Excel if you like, be lazy, if you like. Being yourself isn't something you try, it's something you just let happen. Let yourself happen.

I've suffered with debilitating insomnia for years and know what it feels like to be a walking dead zombie! I like to drink potent Vanuatu Kava Kava before bed along with 5-htp. It helps me piss out all of my water and be able to sleep through the night without getting up to urinate. Kava is one of the best sedatives/diuretics to take about an hour or two before bed and feels very euphoric. The only draw back is it tastes like shit and is kinda expensive and may not be legal in Germany.... and Kava is only affective on an empty stomach. So I usually do the Kava ritual, and then eat a fatty high protein snack [after the Kava high wears off] to keep my blood sugar stable through the night. 5htp is a form of tryptophan that increases serotonin and melatonin production in the brain. Personally I find that controlling cortisol is also one of the most important things that helped me sleep better. A good diet with lots of veggies, a low stress lifestyle, controlling blood sugar are very important. Supplements like holy basil, phosphatidylserine, magnesium citrate, calcium, DHEA, Vitamin D really helped. Avoiding booze and caffeine helps. Caffeine has a long half life and can really affect you at bed time even though it may have been as long as 12 hours since you drank it. It takes a full 24 hours for caffeine to leave your system. I got the insomnia from burnout and a soul crushing job. If you are in a downward spiral of sleeplessness you may have burned out your adrenal glands [like I did]. If your adrenals are burned out then your body will start to produce copious amounts of cortisol. Its a vicious cycle to try to correct. Because healing the adrenal glands requires sleep. Caffeine romps on tapped out adrenals and booze can really fuck up blood sugar which affects the adrenals too. They both make more cortisol. When I am in a cortisol driven fight or flight mode. I often try to tap into the parasympathetic nervous system through relaxation hypnosis or ASMR videos here on RU-vid. It takes a lot of sifting through them to find one that is right for you. And strangely most of them are made by women.... A little Skyrim before bed helps me get sleepy too :) I'm not trying to be an asshole here and tell you what you should or should not do. These are just a few things I have learned and that have helped me after years of suffering..... I lost my job and pretty much all my friends do to insomnia.... Its one of the worst things I've ever had to deal with! I still have sleepless nights, but I'm better off than before.....

Great video! True MGTOWs are the men who are individuals who put their personal freedom and well being first. It has never been about feminism or marriage laws etc for me, I have just never been interested in getting married or having kids. MGTOW has given me a vocabulary to better describe my ideas, but I have been going my own way since my late teens and I am 48 now. I have had one relationship for about three years and one for 4 months in that time. Both were detrimental to my health and happiness.

In reference to whats said around 20-26:00 min mark--- it is true that "no one knows the future", but it is also true that for all intents and purposes the NEAR future and especially the IMMEDIATE future is already basically written, and IN ALL AREAS OF LIFE... for example it would be very strange if I heard tomorrow or next month that Stardusk changed his mind about MGTOW and all that that implies, those ideas are pretty much set for the near future, same with his economic condition and many other things.

All my friends and acquaintances have been decimated by marriage emotionally and financially. I am the only person I know who's x wife loved him so much... that when I got divorced from her, she/we opted out of a lawyer option and co wrote an agreement we both lovingly and with respect... and just paid a lawyer to fix the language and file it for us... our divorce in total cost $1000. I had money, but she didn't kill me financially and I happily took care of her financially with a fair number. We did have two great kids, I was happy to support my children. Footnote. I do love pretty young women physically and I do pay a weekly allowance to a sugar baby I see for fun, and intimacy once a week.

She leaves you, you pay, if you want it or not. Marriage laws need to be rewritten because it is not fair. Kids aside, there is no need to pay a woman and support her when she decides to leave period. Just don't do it.
