[MHW] Update 6.0 and Gunner Set Changes (reuploaded)

Kinda disappointed myself by Nerg gamma tbh. For blademaster the changes are basically non existent (Jho/Blos weapon gain Airborne, Wyvern Ignition and Diablos Tyrannis gain +3 raw, Peak Performance sets gain nothing at all) and as you mentioned gunners mostly only gain a little more consistent damage. I was hoping for some fat Agitator or Stamina Surge pieces but instead they toss Partbreaker in, which doesn't fit Nerg set at all?

Phemeto, thanks for all the effort you do to put out good info for gunners in MHW. I'm trying to get good at bow and finalize some builds and I'm curious what your opinion on Stamina Cap Up vs. Stamina Surge. Should I assume that Stamina Surge works better for newer players who may take longer time during hunts and Stamina Cap Up is better for veterans who will finish a fight quickly? Also, I'm guessing that Constitution 1 + Felyne Black Belt + Dash Juice (or Wiggly Litchi in a pinch) is ideal?

This set will help empress Styx with it cluster and slicing ammo since they both go off raw damage.

What about the Taroth Blitz Shots? Has it been replaced by the Support? I just got the shots and it’ll kinda suck if I have to farm KT somebody more

Does boots are really good. I think this set will be good with empress Styx weapons buffing there damage by stacking attack.

Gunners guild update

Damn the problem is with Nergi y armor i wont be able to use the chest with Teo Y helm, arms and boots to build master's touch and fire resistance. The boots are broken but we've already plenty of good options with boots and close to none good chest piece for the y armor. I would've swap nergi y boots and chest pieces...

im more disappointed in that people still heavily depend on the rarest jewel in the game to pop. whats that? i need all 7 attack jewels? are you joking?

Hey @Phemento, I can see that you covered Jyura Bullet 3 vs Devil's Madness. Any reason not covering Kjarr Shot Decay? Would have thought it was a supposed to be better than Jyura Bullet 3 in terms of Spread 2.

Please, @Phemeto i have a question. I didn't understand: BOWS: for >2:30 min runs, should i use the STANDARD KJAR BUILDS or KJAR STAMINA SURGE 2 or the BUILDS for the old KT weapons?

Wait wait wait so raw attack actually increases dmg on clusters? so I should use attack up on cluster build? Is this the same on sticky ammo?

Is constituition lvl 3 not meta anymore?

Jesus you would’ve thought that with nergigante being the main monster on the game he would’ve had good armor, for some reason they make the most iconic monsters have terrible armor sets like jhos armor is bad but regular nergigante is good but gamma is just not great

Why you didn't include update on Pierce HBG and Dragonpiercer focused Bow. Your answer will be probably "they're not meta". I think this kind of mindset is wrong. Those strategies are perfectly viable and if you want to call yourself "gunners guild" you souldn't left any topic not covered.

I don't give a damn what anyone says. Stamina surge x3 is a MUST for bows. Yeah spamming normal shots does decent damage but sidestep/shoot sidestep/shoot constant charge shots is godly. Not to mention you're dodging everything, and more power shots/arc shots to the face does 300 or more damage per second plus having more stamina makes arc shot crit 100% of the time, but if you use 3 power shots and run out of stamina and need to dodge, you're probably going to get hit. Same with Luna stamina cap. Keep that stamina bar at the most possible and recharging as fast as possible. Cause without as much stamina as possible, bow is shit. I main bow by the way and have solo'd every arch tempered monster with it. So I know my shit lol
