@@kendallrivers1119 Nope. Nowadays, it's all about Kim Kardashian taking her top off and Amy Schumer telling everybody about what noises her cunt makes when she rubs off. We've lost The Golden Girls and replaced them with shit like The Big Bang Theory and Dan Schnider's obnoxious foot-fetish shitshow, iCarly.
2022.. just watched this episode again on t.v. and wondered if this was on RU-vid because I kept reminding it on the DVR. Think.. vcr was the only thing around then. Lol . My kids don't even know what a 📼 VHS is.. my oldest is 15 and he wld try putting them in but they went obsolete right after that .. be that really. They still had the DVD 📀 📼 VHS combo still. And my GMA had my old tapes.. buty 12 Year old never did.
I love when they were still writing it....Rose suggested "Miami is nice...and I'll say it thrice." Dorothy yelled at her for it. I still love this show. Timeless.
Holy shit, look at that upload date. This video is so old that when it was first uploaded all four of The Golden Girls were still alive. R.I.P. Betty White, Estelle Getty, Bea Arthur, and Rue McClanahan. ♥
+zool ogist ... It is shocking to think, that, they never ever went to Miami ! Filmed in: Columbia/Sunset Gower Studios - 1438 N. Gower Street, Hollywood, Los Angeles, California
I don't know if Miami has, but it's not unusual. For example, the state of Oklahoma adopted the title song of the Broadway musical OKLAHOMA! as its state song.
Anytime I hear someone say Miami I instantly think of this song. My best friend knows that I will start singing it too if I am comfortable with the people around me hehehe
One of the all time best moments and not just of the series but in all of tv history! These four women were just magic. All the carbon copies from Designing Women, Sex and The City, Desperate Housewives, Hot in Cleveland etc. just can't top them no matter how hard they tried to. These ladies actually had real chemistry.
Blanche's Big Daddy,Rose's famous Keflurgen Flurgen cake,Dorothy & STAN,Sophia & her Scicilian stories...how I love them. When I was growin up they were a part of our family. We never missed an episode. Bless em!
I had some friends over that night and at the end of this song every one of us stood up and cheered -- more than 20 years later I still can't get that jingle out of my head.
Yesterday was 26/02/2023. My mum died exactly a year ago. She loved the golden girls and introduced the series to me. We both loved it. A few days after my mum died, I sat and watched this episode because this was our favourite. Whenever I hear the Miami jingle, I think of my mum. To whoever wrote this song, and to Bea, Betty, Rue and Estelle for singing it, you brought a little bit of happiness in a very dark time ❤️
It's amazing how times past and now there is really two golden girls left in this world...but honestly this episode was a show that makes you laugh and smile.
11 years later and all four golden girls are reunited in heaven, the last golden girl Betty White passed away in 2021 while Blanche’s actress Rue McClanahan passed away in 2010
Bea Arthurs death is still a shock to me, RIP Bea Arthur, RIP Estelle Getty, you will be in everyone's hearts and homes for many years to come. Live on Golden Girls. No women are as remarkable as you four are. I hope Bea and Estelle will live a peaceful after life for all eternity as they
Rest in peace Bea and Estelle. 20 years later and I still laugh as hard as I did when I saw these episodes for the first time. Tell me a sitcom on now that can do that. You cant. Because there isnt one close to the calibre of this. The '80s was the golden age of sitcoms (at least in my generation)...and 'The Golden Girls' led the way. They dont make them like this anymore. It still holds up. Absolutely love it...
I love the golden girls and this jingle is the best. I couldn't get "Miami, Miami you got style, blue bright sunshine, white sand by the mile." out of my head. I agree with whoever said Bea has a good voice.
i don't think there are any four other women that are as amazing as these four. The Golden Girls will be remembered for years. What other middle aged women can be on tv, tap dance, sing, and act as well as they can. The Golden Girls will be in our hearts and our homes forever.
Thank you for the pleasant and amusing time you gave us. The four of them have now passed away, but they will be always remembered thanks to this hit show :)
i can't get enough of this song, i have the eposide on my DVR still, simply because of this song, It brings a feeling to me that I can't explain, almost like I connected with them for just this song..odd, I know, but this show saved me from some hard times!
Miami . . you're cuter than . . an interuteran. . . I love this show - it's one of the few shows that make me laugh outloud. The four ladies were so hysterrical and had such great chemistry together; and what a great song this is! Bea and Estelle are greatly missed.
i loved this woman, i look up to her as an actress and a performer. 30 min on tv you were a mother and friend thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with me and so many people, i promise as an inspiring actor i will do my best in your honor R.I.P.
I really like this song. It is great, really fun. I agree with what they are saying they speak about how nice southern florida is and I agree. I always enjoy travelling there and I am sure Miami is a nice city. It makes me think about the nice warm weather and beaches in Florida, which is nice
i was born in july of 1992 so i was born 2 months after this stopped airing...i wish i was able to watch it...but i dont have cable so i can only watch episodes on youtube...its better than nothing but theres still alot of episodes i havent seen yet... :'(
I agree...People watch this show alot, I watch this show when ever its on. when I hurd that Estelle Died, I just sobed. When you watch this show for years you feel like their apart of your family
I'm 26, whatever, they are great. :D "Hit it Rose" again! :) I always seen it with my mother, thats maybe the reason I like my mother more than my dad. Same sense of humor.
ahhh.. MIAMI!! Everything in the song, is absolutely true. It's the cream of the crop, the top of the line. And today marks a year since my last visit. I MISS YOU MIA!!! :)
