@Prisoner Athome And it could therefore be fantastic. Actors playing real people in a staged reality show is some of the best way to watch real people (the actors) do something actually ridiculous (be in that kind of staged show). Nathan For You becomes a peak comedy when you shift your thinking from 'look how dumb these people are and how smart I am' (the value proposition of any reality show) to 'look how brilliant they are at plucking funny personalities interested in being on TV and letting them shine on TV.' Thanks, radio, as deepfake Kanye might say.

Weapon X was Wolverine. Weapon XII was a big blue thing with a hive mind. Weapon XIII was Fantomex. Weapon XIV was the Stepford Cookoos and Weapon XV was Ultimatum, a big robot thing. Deadpool got his powers in the Weapon X program, but he was just a test subject when they were fiddling with replicating Wolverines healing abilities in other people. He was considered a failure because it took a while for the powers to manifest, so even though Deadpool was in the Weapon Plus program he wasn't designated a roman numeral.

CAMERA RECOMMENDATIONS: Im gonna count the first 3 as one, cause they are from the same company and somewhat similar, but all depends on your budget. Panasonic G7, G85, and GH5. The order is lowest to highest in price, as well as the quality. They all shoot 4k, which doesn't mean you have to out put in 4k. 4k gives you options to crop or zoom in post and still maintain a good image, and then you can export it in something like 1080. The Sony A7 series are all pretty good, I'd personally recommend the A7 III. It offers probably the best bang for buck out of the whole series, although is still quite expensive depending on what you're looking for, and it can be a little tricky to use at first. Benefits are it produces one of the better looking images in my opinion and autofocus is quite good, compared to the panasonics. Finally the Canon 80d. It's been around for awhile, and although I've never used it, i know it can produce a good image for the price and canon is known for they're fantastic autofocus. Hope this wasn't too much, but let me know if you have any questions. I'd be happy to answer them.

its funny cuz kumail actually WAS on set working with tessa and chris. I thought MIB was perfectly funny and I wouldn't see it again but I'm glad I saw it. kumail's character had a few funny lines but you're right, that character wasn't anything special.

"Camera recommendations a reasonable cost?" my pick would either be a a fuji xt30 or xt3 if your feeling flush or one of the many panasonic GH series camers GH5 i believe is the one to get get but has some focus issues still i believe. For me it would be fuji though has a great colour profile that needs no editing and great face tracking and CHEAP lenses

Now I know I’m a minority here, but I’m not looking forward to the switch to video! I like to listen to the podcast when I’m running or driving and if you guys are being recorded then some of the comedy will become visual so I’ll have to devote an hour or two to sit and watch you guys rather than have the podcast on while doing other things! For me, the Miley Cyrus BLACK MIRROR episode was half of an interesting idea with all the teenager/robot stuff tacked on to pad it out. I feel like older BM would have spent the whole episode about the paranoid relationship between the popstar and her handlers and would have ended with her in the forced coma having songs extracted from her head. That’s WAY more dystopian. All the other stuff in the episode was rubbish, or belonged in a different episode with its own arc. It was also a terrible “cover” the popstar was singing of NIN’s ‘Head Like A Hole’ and I found it really distracting.

@JCLegoMan - I tend to really like the more lighthearted romantic or comedic episodes, and less the really dark or depressing or disgusting ones (with the exception of 'Hated in the Nation'), and the Netflix seasons have had both extremes. the Channel 4 (?) seasons were all generally dark, but also just done better. I'd say the Hayley Atwell one was my favorite of those seasons, too.
