So funny when both my hands are busy with dishes or the lawnmower or anything, and I'm listening to the podcast through headphones, and I hear one of them saying "Defenders...", I just think "Oh GOD No!!" and I'm scrambling to get my gloves off and trying to desperately lower the volume as fast as I can before that song blasts off xD

I usually listen to the podcast at work, but I just want to say that losing Spiderman just makes me sad. When I was younger I didn’t care much for Star Wars, but I loved the MCU, and form watching people like you and comics explained it got me excited for the possibilities of what we could see in the future of the MCU, and now all I can hope for is someone like apple to buy Sony so Spiderman completely reverts back to marvel PS I’m 20 and have Autism (High functioning though) so if my priorities don’t make that much sense, I blame it on that

Spiderman might be the most important MCU character right now. With Iron man, who was the main character of the Infinity Saga (phases 1-3) it's quite clear they were setting up spiderman to fill his shoes as the lead (being and spiderman: far from home marked a new beginning to the MCU much like Iron man did back in 2008.) if you read all this, thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Sony are contracted to recast all roles following the Disney split (it was in the news _way_ back, how did you miss it?) Not sure if that will include JJJ as that actor was obviously cast first in the original SPIDER-MAN trilogy)

Deadline changed its story. The percentage for Disney would only be for Spider-Man movies that Kevin Feige produced, not for all Sony Spider-Man properties. Also, Sony was Deadline's source, not Disney. So Sony leaked the Story, not Disney. Disney is historically closed mouth on business deals as well as spoilers, as is Kevin Feige.

Cap in the comics has been disillusioned A LOT. So, the Cap disillusioned and becoming Nomad was a story from the late 60's, and the Cap being disillusioned and being sued by the government for back taxes prompting him to give the Shield up to the government because he didn't have that kind of money and then Johnny Walker (later, yes known as Jack Daniels) taking over, is from the 80's. Because of course it was.

It’s upsetting that Spider-Man won’t be in the mcu, but for me Spider-Man is a character who deserves his own universe, we need to see the Spider verse and the sinister 6, and with all the shit marvel has to do with would take them YEARS to do this but at least with Sony they can get straight to it but HOPEFULLY they make good movies, but I’m not bummed out over this

Batman Bro it’s really obvious that Kevin Feige were setting up Sinister Six for like the fourth movie since they had Vulture, Mysterio, The Shocker, The Prowler, and The Tinkerer all established. Also Spider-Man doesn’t need to be the sole hero in a universe, that mentality is a product of the Raimi films. And now we’re probably going to get a rushed and poorly put together Sinister Six that will suck.

I cant remember the name (I wanna say dark forces but I know that's a video game) but it's also a old star wars book that's now part of "legends" think it revolved around palpatine having a clone of luke made as a body for his force essence to go in when he died or something along those lines.

The first episode of She-Hulk should open with a scene similar to Sensational She-Hulk #4, in which Shulkie happily welcomes the reader/viewer and explains that, because you're here, she can now change her clothes in a quick montage, instead of doing it in real time. It'd immediately establish her character, the tone of the show, and her fourth wall breaking ability, with the added bonus of skipping the origin for the time being, to he explained later on.

Let's get past the everything thing else Disney owns . . . I and a lot of people want Marvel to have its properties back. It's not a Sony does this thing different or Sony's had it for so many years, Sony didn't create it and it's not really their IP. So yes, if Disney were to drop some of the things they bought so that Marvel could have all the things they made a bad contract deal on decades ago, I'd want Marvel 100% again for movie/tv making. Sony can make an Angry birds movie or a Bandicot movie.
