Did anyone else notice the multiple, obvious shots of Bryce Dallas Howards shoes early in Jurassic World? It made me laugh to see what I took as a direct response to the backlash over her high heels in the first movie.

The first Turtles movie was mostly based on the storyline about the Return of Shredder, so he did come back. They killed him in the first issue, but the Foot resurrected him in a later, longer storyline by feeding his corpse to a colony of Flatworms which retained the memories of the food they ate... (it was based on a real life science experiment that showed some worms somehow did this that was making the rounds back in the day...) In any event, Shredder was actually a bunch of worms in a Shredder costume. But other than that, it had a lot of the same story beats as the film... the fight and fire in the antique store, the retreat from the city to the farm, etc. And I can put in a decent word for "Congo"... the book is substantially different from the film. The diamond-based lasers in the book are purely for satellite communication purposes, but some Hollywood producer probably heard "lasers" and "apes" and gave it a greenlight on the promise that the climax would have the heroes blasting away monkeys with ray guns.

The lead singer of Sublime, Bradley Nowell, died in 1996. The band got back together at the 2024 Coachella with his son Jakob as lead singer. He's currently 28, the same age his dad was when he died.

It's perfectly fine for some things to not make sense in Star Wars when the movie is actually GOOD. When the movie sucks, though, the mistakes really stand out.

Yeah, it was called “hold your wee for a Wii” You had to drink a ton of water and not go to the bathroom. Of course, water increases your blood volume and so a blood vessel burst in her brain and she died. Tragic.

At the end of Creed, Adonis loses the fight but earns the name sake of creed and he is supposed to be the new champ I assume he either doesn’t live up to the expectations or he becomes champ but starts to lose after a bit it is a few years as he does have a kid who looks to be about 1-2 years old

I would also like to recommend another Michael Crichton book, Eaters of the Dead, which the fantastic movie, The 13th Warrior was based off of. Although it doesnt contain Crichton’s usual cutting edge science backdrop, i found it very enjoyable and is possibly somewhat non-fiction? Anyway good read...ya dickheads

Why are they trying to turn Jurassic Park into Aliens? Weaponizing the dinosaurs is just the dumbest fucking plot. If that were so preferable to just giving human beings guns and training, the Army would've weaponized bears years ago.

I agree that Fallen Kingdom could possibly be the worst movie in the series. The opening scene did show potential but I got so bored during the third act of the movie, a lot of it was just dumb or didn't pay off and I really didn't like the ending at all. Almost everything good about it was in the trailers. All in all, worst movie ever.

The second a movie depends on external material to make sense the film has failed. Fallen Kingdom has FAILED if you have to read a dipshit website to explain the situation on Site B. This "purging on Site B" NEEDED to be addressed in the film. Fucking stupid movie. Any forward momentum from Jurassic World is utterly pissed away with Fallen Kingdom.

How/Why is it such a big deal now that two writers bring politics into it, especially since they were a reactionary response to Trump's election (mainly)? Regardless, I wouldn't say they're bragging about it. If it was all white guys you wouldn't be saying a thing.
