Watch how the defendant is looking at the prosecutor. He wants to kill him too! There are plenty of psychos who carry that are just looking for any reason to use their gun!!!
10:43 one of my favorite parts of this Prosecutor’s close....he did an amazing job. He kept everyone riveted the entire time with his delivery, storytelling style and passion. Well done!
Mr Arnold Schwarzenegger the prosecutor did an excellent job!! This rebuttal has been excellently targetted at the emotions of the jury! Great prosecutor! What a performance!!!
Typical defense attorney tactic ... have your lowlife client dress up in a suit he would never wear normally, and anytime something devastating to his case is said, have him scribble on a pad of paper as if he is involved at all in his own defense!! What's he writing?? I'll tell you, he's writing 2 words over and over and over... "I'm screwed! I'm screwed! I'm screwed!"
Oh my gosh, this prosecutor went in all the way. He says at one point that their expert witness couldn’t answer a question to save his life. Hahaha. The defense didn’t stand a chance after this.
I was so happy he spoke about that! He was on point and so true!! That "expert" made my blood boil. I feel so bad for Brittany having to sit thru that BS. I still can't believe he had the audacity to say he didn't protect his family because he went back inside after being shot in the heart!
I really want to know what the defendant is writing down, because it seems like most of the time through out the trial he keeps looking down writing even though at times he should be booking at what he did and he should appear regretful, but I'm sorry up until the time he got arrested he didn't regret any of his action's & behavior.
Claudette he is not interested in looking regretful. He is not regretful. In fact he is very proud of himself. He feel like he took a law breaker out. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. “Yay me!” Is what he thought when he killed the man.
The definition of premeditated murder fits this case since Markeis McGlockton backed up and took a step toward the store. At that point Drejka premeditated shooting someone trying to get away. Just because it took seconds doesn't mean premeditation was not involved. Manslaughter is a slap on the wrist for this crime. Welcome to Florida.
I enjoy two rebuttals which I keep returning to, this one and the Michael Dunn trial, My son has just started as a lawyer and hopefully I can add him to the list.
You can really see this lawyer's passion for using the law as a shield to protect the disenfranchised and those who are suffering. The world needs more men with this level of class and character.
For all of you who are bashing the Prosecutor on this video, I hope that you get this self proclaimed Parking Spot Police's address in the Florida Prison he'll be living in for the next 20 to 30 years so you can send him money for protection, because he's going to be getting something " Parked " willingly or not in a very tender place.
Drejka was absolutely waiting to get into a confrontation where he could pull his firearm on someone. He brandished his weapon on a kid after slamming his breaks in front of the kid's car. He pulled out his weapon and waived motioning for the kid to come to his window
Drejka's case will serve as teaching material in the CCW classes on what NOT to do. Michael Drejka while serving time in prison the other prisoners will definitely teach Drejka on how to mind his own business.
Drejka was "proud" He was happy with himself, he executed a man for a handicap space parking violation. It was his entire game. The State Attorney is awesome when he said he's not going to retire anytime soon because you have nothing to do, that 'Drejka hasn't worked since he was 33 and all he has to do is police a handicap space harassing people'.
K. Camille the defensive has to try everything they can but too bad for them nothing worked. I was saying the same thing, objection for what? The prosecutor went all the way in. They didn’t stand a chance.
If someone was threatening my wife and I walked in on it, I would first ask them if they have a gun before I go charging at him. If they say "yes" or show the gun to me, I'll apologize for interrupting the assailant and walk away before calling 911. That is more reasonable rather than getting my head blown off and not getting to be alive anymore! I love my wife but I Iove my life too! -the Troll
@@stephenharris9802 Right, every one was looking in the direction of the argument because they all liked the Wife's car. Like "what is that, a Honda accord?"
In USA, this kinda arguments still needed to get someone punished for a crime that was live on video, and for every normal human to see...He should be given the chance to be honest and admit he diddent come to him, if he doesnt : 10 years more..
I am so glad Drejka was found guilty and sentenced to 20 years. But I have to say, this prosecutor was easy to dislike. He was so angry, seemed like he wanted to provoke a physical reaction from Drejka and his lawyers, and that smug voice he used when quoting the defense was so childlike, in my opinion. This has nothing to do with anything, but it kind of looked like he's wearing a rug on his head, but I can't be certain. I actually would have preferred if Drejka got more times. The taking of that young man's life, and the separation from his kids, is worth far more than 20 years.
Have you noticed that attorney's in other trials very rarely object during a closing statement? Even if they disagree they'll usually always wait for their turn at bat and will use argument to shoot down the opposing counsel's points. It's an unwritten rule. It's very disruptive to the attorney and to the jury who are being given the final arguments of the case. But, the defence have been up and down more times than prostitute's knickers. Have some respect for the process man!
Major congrats to whomever managed to take that slimy-looking dude in the parking lot and make him almost unrecognizable and indistinguishable from his attorneys on the legal team. 👏
Awesome when the State Attorney said that impotent little weasel hasn't worked since he was 33 and has nothing to do but harass people over a handicap space.
I’m not so sure this guy was very good but he did win the case. I thought he was overly emotional playing for the camera and just did not stick to the facts in the evidence I’m happy for the conviction in the sentence but John guy in Florida is a superior prosecutor
This prosecutor is facing the jury and boldface lying to them. He is saying that Mr. McGlockton did not commit a crime when he violently shoved Mr. Drejka to the ground. He says this is because McGlockton was coming to the defense of others. However, Drejka had never touched, nor threatened to touch anyone. It is absolutely against the law to strike another person during a verbal argument. I'd love to defend the next person this prosecutor tries to charge with assault and or battery.
I would feel bummed if I tried to protect my wife and got killed for it. What's the point if I'm dead and not be around to be congratulated or get a handshake for a job well done! And she probably would grieve for a little bit and then marry some other guy (maybe even the guy who killed me!) -the Troll
The one ☝🏼 prosecutor is a loose cannon and cocky arrogant and condescending and unprofessional!!! Hot head !! He acts like a real whack job!!! The prosecutor is a real piece of work!!! He is definitely a very good prosecutor!!! I don’t like how he screams at the jury and I don’t think that serves you well in your case / arguments in the case opening statement or closing argument!!! The prosecutor is crazy and the short prosecutor is not much better!! Scary how a prosecutor is a hot head and has no self control of himself!!! 🙅🏻♂️🙅🏻♂️🙅🏻♂️🙄🙄🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@Erik Perez, The reason why the jury made an example of Michael Drejka is because while he was being interrogated by detectives he lied to them and said that McGlockton never backed away from him and the video doesn't lie also Drejka has a history or paper trail with the Police Department which is a pattern of bad behavior and Drejka was properly trained in the CCW class in the use of a weapon for his defense and for the defense of others. Drejka is NOT trained to intervene in situations out in the streets like a cop and he was NOT trained to approach people to enforce State laws so the courts are NOT going to be tolerated anymore because they don't want armed citizens playing a cop. Michael Drejka made his own bed now he can lay in it.
This prosecutor is a raging buffoon. Not everyone should carry a gun? Well Drejka carried a gun for over 25 years without a single incident. He had the proper permit, and was legally carrying.
Much Sunshine the prosecutor is correct! Somewhere over the course of 25years, Drejka managed to become unhinged while piling up unprovoked incidents with the public. His psycho antics graduated to murder!!!
",without a single incident " is simply not true. You should watch his bond hearing video. He has several documented cases of threatening others with his gun
@@princessbrj and another incident at the same place a few months prior where he did threaten him. He’s a retired, nearly bankrupt, unofficial parking attendant who WANTED confrontation.. he was doing 4 Monsters a day!
Riiiiiight, she was scared, that's why she rolled the window down and screamed at him. And Mr. Buffington answered questions perfectly, just not how you wanted him to. And escalating a verbal argument to a physical one isn't "protecting your family". (22:21) 21:55 "allow someone to kick you in the head and risk becoming a vegetable, you have no right to defend yourself from that." Un-freaking-stipid-believeable. Let's see if you feel that way if someone is ever smashing their foot on your family members head. Let's see you tell your family member to "take a kick".
@Telly S. I beg the differ, this prosecutor understands his job assignment, he is awesome. Has earned every dime of his salary, and a special place in heaven.
