With such overwhelming evidence against him ..why did this even go to trial? He was the only shooter & had already told police he did this & he killed a cop...the rest is just excuses & his crazy morals 🙄
Independent of what we know in this country even the lowest among us is entitled to due process hence the trials despite confessions, evidence etc. The thing to hope for is that a just conclusion is reached.

Good observation. I've been on a jury before and the sheriff in the room was way out of shape and looked like he was about to fall asleep. I like this cop.
Great job prosecution on the closing; this was a horrific crime. The defendant seems to lack any type of remorse throughout the trial, and during his testimony.

I don’t believe the shootings on either part were premeditated... I think she wanted to scare him and it backfired! I do believe he wanted to kill her brother but not kill the cop.
Brenda Fuller I agree with you on the shooting not being premeditated, as well as her trying to scare him. This is why you DO NOT pull out a pistol & not use it....this is sad and poor decision making...but had he not killed the cop, he wouldn’t have gotten life.
Yeah premeditation can take place in just a brief moment. It's not like you have to plan it out for weeks ahead. Basically if you have any time to think about it before you act then that's enough.

He always had his guns in his car because of beinging robbed twice..he didn't bring his guns to kill anyone..but she went to get her gun to shoot him.. so beinging threatened tables turned.. he was facing her her gun and her brother.. it was self defense. She threatened him before she would shoot him..she brought her own death and the brothers. My opinion
Marcy C wasn’t working when he went to see her. Both guns were loaded and ready. Her gun fell when she went to go inside. She wasn’t aiming it. He had already pointed his guns at her , before she walked away. NOT a self defence case. If he was so innocent, why did he run?
You are an idiot. Markeith brought two guns there, that's intent. He shot sade 8 times, her brother at least 3 or 4 times. They didn't have a weapon on them. Markeith could've left but, choose to stay and kill. He deserves everything he gets.
Tina Hernandez he ran because of that prejudice state that he lives in. She had no business pulling the gun in the first place. He did not go to her house to shoot and kill her or her brother. She is responsible for her own death.
