@Night's King Jordan had it more difficult bcus the rules has changed. Guys were literally playing in his shorts and Jordan shook them off. 1990s NBA was a lot more physical. Today if you breath too hard on a player its a foul.
I live in Chicago and I went to a game sitting under the basket in the family section with my camera and a really good telephoto lens and I saw Jordan, Ewing, and starks jump at the same time near the bucket and they came down and he was still in flight. I took the picture and I was silent the rest of the game maybe in shock.
I went to Flight School his camp the first year at IBC someone asked how high can you jump he said after lunch I'll show you... Swiped a half dollar off the top of the backboard... Looked like an alien!
I was very young growing up in Chicago in the early and mid 90s, back then watching the bulls was the only basketball i had ever seen at that point. I knew when i was a child that mike was different then the other players. It wasnt like it is now with the internet and 24/7 coverage and interviews and media, all i saw of mike for the most part was what he did during actual games, and from watching him play alone-i knew this was a horse of a different color, alot of the people in Chicago area knew they were witnessing history, and some like my father did not know, he was a skeptic, rightfully so i mean who retires comes back and wins 3 more championships in a row!? I still remember my dad having his doubts about Jordan's bulls lol, as a kid i just somehow knew this guy was different then the rest of em, and its not like i had youtube to influence me, you could just tell mike was something else from his gameplay, the man oozed swag and passion for the game, i knew as a child this man would have to die on the basketball court for him to lose a finals series. Mike is amazing, i have 23 tattooed on my shooting elbow lol, mike was a huge influence growing up, honestly it was a privilege to watch his career.
Michael might be the only athlete I've ever watched where I can see the same highlights over and over and they have the same impact as if I'm seeing them for the first time AGAIN!!!

kawhi doesnt have the athleticism mj has (ie quickness, vertical leap) he only has the bug hands. but mj’s hands is still bigger. kawhi can copy those mid range post up moves but not those acrobatic shots and quick turn around fade aways
I grew up watching this guy play. Every night he did something (many things) that would leave you questioning what you saw. Seeing this all put together now….just damn! He could literally do whatever he wanted to do…from the time he stepped into the league!
Is funny bc Jordan plays like a sophisticated level genius, but still when you break it down. All his movements are not wasted. His footworks, every single one of em.
He is in the lane and clowning on people too.... Who else does that... No one... Steph doing it at the top of the circle doesn't hold the same weight... not even remotely.
And his passing ability. Lebron's no look passes are typical look left pass right, MJs no look passes come out of no where. And the shot blocking as a guard, outstanding. And they try to say he didn't have great handles, he doesn't have kryie handles but his are close and tight to his body not wide crossovers like alot of others. MJ was Impeccable
@Infinit 0 Kawhi's hands are big enough, but can't do everything MJ did onehanded, like mid-air one handed shots. Partly because kawhi doesn't have MJ's hangtime.

There are actually people, who by all outward appearances seem to be normal sentient beings, who claim Lebron James is better this this guy. Seriously, some people think that the athlete we just witnessed in the above clips is not the GOAT. MJ was a basketball perfection. There is no one close to him.
the way MJ dominated the game made him look like a grown man in game filled with high school kids. not to say his competition was easy, but he was (and still is) just that much better than everyone else.
I love it when people say MJ couldn’t handle the “zone” defenses they use today…there’s only like 3763 clips of him slicing through double and triple teams like nothing.
MJ the best offensive player and defensive player and accomplished more than any other player in 13 years the likes that Lebron is still chasing even after 20 years. Good god MJ had no weaknesses of course MJ is the GOAT, just like Jim Brown is the GOAT of running backs because he accomplished more in 9 years than anyone ever.

People should stop comparing him to other basketball players. He is obviously the best ever. The only comparable are greats in other sports…Ali, Gretzky, Bo, etc.
You can see 3 major things in this video: 1. Jordan was insanely athletic, 2. He was also a finesse player, 3. Was fundamentally skilled near to perfection. And 3rd point is most important for me, because some people claimed that Jordan can't be GOAT because he travels A LOT. And, to be honest, his first step was so lightning quick he lifted his pivot foot before first dribble from time to time. How did NBA handle this for future generations? They added questionable gather step and stopped whistling on travels. I don't think any modern player, except Kyrie, could show that lvl of speed and craftsmanship during dribbling. My eyes bleed when there is a replay and you can see a player lifting his pivot foot before action. This is normal in NBA now, not normal for me..
he was the ultimate athlete...imo the best athlete of all time the guy can play anything ....golf....baseball....frigging hockey or surfing....mj coulda done it
Michael Jordan is one of 4 or 5 athletes who were at least 40 years ahead of their sport. It's really unbelievable. Maybe in 10 years we will finally say that Jordan was 50 years ahead 🤷.
i hope someone can copy his basketball moves like what kobe did that would be very entertaining to watch again hopefully someone do can copy his moves its hard but its worth it.
Kobe has nothing to do with Jordan. It is of course his finest copy but it remains a pale copy compared to the original. It's not the same level at all. Kobe is not among the 5 greatest players in history in putting it in 2 is a joke. Kobe is number 7 or even maybe number 8 historically. There have been too many monsters in this sport.
It was not my favourite player because I grew up watching Magic and Bird and they played for their team and Jordan looked very selfish compared to them. Then all the kids wanted to imitate Michael Jordan and they all played very selfish, without worrying about their team mates. But when it comes to Jordan, he was mind-blowing, unstoppable. It was like watching humans playing against a furious black panther.

Music and everything all on point, especially providing us all with the other aspects of MJ's game that we take for granted or either forgotten he did so well! Yours, and there's a couple of others who feature the Bulls and MJ and you guys do such a great job on bringing to light, the things that we're all still amazed at, but tend to forget or put on the back burner because of his more exciting, eye catching awe inspiring highlights that still flood the social media outlets, "Still To This Present Day"!
