Michael Jordan reacts to making the Bulls' Ring of Honor | NBA on ESPN 

Brings chills down my spine when I think about it. Flashback to 1984. Fan attendance dwindling, team losing money, very close to being sold to outside ownership groups, signaling possible relocation out of Chicago. Then that summer they drafted a young kid from North Carolina, and he came on to the team, humbly saying "..hopefully I can turn it around." Fast forward to today, and he went on to become the GOAT as a member of the team that drafted him. Without MJ, the Bulls likely wouldn't be in Chicago today or would be defunct..

There will never be another! Salute MJ!

Thank you MJ for creating a Bulls dynasty in my youth growing up in Chicago. Not just winning those titles, the camaraderie of the Bulls dynasty was iconic. When my parents experienced Beatlemania, Bulls dynasty was my version of it.

As a Chicagoan who grew up watching him for his last 8 years as a bull…. “I will Always Be a Chicago Bull” was everything! Thank you for the memories MJ! GOAT!

Greatest Of All Time!

I think it's amazing how Jordan went from sitting on a bench as one of the youngest college students drafted during his time at north Carolina to starring on one of the most infamous teams of National basketball across the world! From Coach Jackson to Scottie Pippen to Dennis Rodman and of course Jordan, squaring off against the likes of Larry Bird. No other team stole the show and beamed them up scottie the way Jordan did for children helping to raise up their imaginations and aspirations of being as great as Jordan that it inspired so many, including Kobe Bryant and Shaq. I'd like to think that even after Jordan lost his father; retired and then tried his best to speak to his father's love for him through his champion spirit and trying out baseball that he knows he's beloved. Turning Nike from second to Converses and 54.11s into a world renound brand of his own that incorporated not only black business at a time most lost their footing, but rebranded the footwear industry into a who's who of black business youths as like Jordan some of the most sought after MBAs. But then you guys !!! He buys the wizards at a time no one expecting more of him not even himself and comes out of retirement to lead them into yet another victory. There are so few entrepreneurs of basketball as black men that are grassroots investors and profiteers of a sport built off the backs of modern mandigo fighting in such an arena that live to not only tell the tale BUT BE THE TALE. His image is the image of every kids favorite shoes and favorite fitted it's such a blessing. As a child I grew up with Jordan as the Hanes model and the man on the front of my Wheaties box that looked like my dad🦹🏿 and when I got lost in the mall under toys or clothes my mom would sing the "Hey Now," song from Jordan's commercials to find me, shed ask "who made you that beautiful?," I'd respond "you did mommy, I love you infinity xs infinity infinities!" Like that Jordan was a hero to so many children especially black children and I hope his legacy remains for infinity infinities. Maybe even a commercial for cable with a kid like me telling ESPNs Jordan that he's loved infinity, infinities and beyond. Black people are coming into New levels of power I hope they don't forget that Black Lives Matter and that we root for yall when we aren't able to achieve our own wins.

Here's the fact, Bulls were shiet when he came, and they are shiet after he retired, but he made them the strongest team in NBA history, shows the GOAT quality.

If you lived through the Jordan era (I'm 54 so I did) and had the pleasure of watching his greatness you understand what we were seeing. Over 95% of the people who think Lefraud is somehow better than him just never watched him play. If basketball is still being played 200 years from now I don't think anybody will surpass him. He was the perfect storm of what a basketball player could be.

I ate Wheaties because of this man. When I was barely able to walk and can hardly remember anything at all these days from that time period, he was there. This man, literally, is my childhood. I can’t believe it took this poverty franchise this long to give him respect.
