There will never be another MJ. He got MVP, scoring title, 1 team all defensive team, an nba championship and finals MVP. He did it 4 times. 2 time dunk champion. 2 “3 peats”. So much more he did. Plus every generation is different with different rules and so much more 💯👏🏾🔥
I remember being 8 yrs old watching this game in my living room... play still gives me the chills every time I see it. MJ the GOAT. Point blank period.
When my friends and me were going to school and in our country suddenly began to show some NBA games on TV we give up all our previous lovely kinds of sport such as football and volleyball completely and had left in our lives only basket. First of all because of MJ. We were shocked by what we had seen. It was not just a sport, it was art, it was beauty. Fantastic, unbelievable. All of us wanted to be MJ
I know the Utah shot will always be ranked the number 1, for me the play against Detroit ranked 8th in this vid is what I always think of. The anticipation to know where Laimbeer is going and makes the great defensive play, then the desperation to keep it in but not just throwing it anywhere but to a team mate which leads to the hustle getting up the court and the finish is not only incredibly athletic to do the 180, but intelligent. He knew the hit was coming, the 180 allowed him to take the foul but maintain control and turn it into an and 1, not just 2 free throws. Number 8 is the perfection of basketball imo.
He is and well be the GOAT!!! Schumacher is great and also Federer! But MJ is his Airness. Best sportsman ever. And nobody will take him over- nobody. Love you MJ ❤ Greetings from Switzerland Dominik
Boy it sure was fun watching him play now we have Steph Curry I'm not really into basketball I'm more of a football person but when you have great athletes like these you have to watch them and appreciate their talent that the good Lord had gave them Michael Jordan is one humble Class Act individual and he may very well be the goat of basketball when I watch Seth Curry play he just Wows me just like Michael Jordan does no matter who comes after Michael Jordan he laid the groundwork for all the ones after him
There was another "at the buzzer" shot not in this video, and for some reason it's the one I remember the most. It was a game against the Atlanta Hawks. I'm way too old to remember which season it was or if it even happened in the playoffs but it's still the one I remember the most.
Lebron James highlight reel is him flopping from “fouls” and walking out on his team with 5 minutes left while they are losing. Great captain there and that’s why even if he plays 45 years he can never be the G.O.A.T
Great list, but I would take number 3 out (I don't even remember this one, and it is essntially the same as the much more famous and crucial number 1) and put in the shot that won the NCAA title for North Carolina in 1982. Your title says that these are the top plays of his CAREER, after all.
The Drive, the Fumble, Jose Mesa blows the save in 97 WS, the Indians choke after being up 3 games to 1 in the '16 WS, Browns going 0-16, OSU can't win the big game, there's something missing...OH yea, THE FREAKING SHOT!!! I hate living in Cleveland! I wish for a giant tidal wave to rise from Lake Erie and wipe Cleveland off the map. And then there's 'the Decision'. Did MJ ever turn his back against Chitown?
