Martin was always anti Schumacher, used every opportunity to throw dirt on Michael...that why Michael ignored him for most of the time, here he was actually suprised Michael agreed to talk.
Brilliant banter. Michael is such a switched on guy. Fuck, it sucks what happened to him. Best wishes for him to have a speedy, comprehensive recovery. Forza Michael.
@shredderkrang touché, then speedy relative to what time it could still potentially take given the severity of his injuries. I’d like to remain optimistic on this one.
Rarely ever see Martin Brundle this nervous, just goes to show the aura that Michael had. Especially as he was his teammate too so would probably know him pretty well.
Man just hearing Michael's voice again, on the grid talking about F1. So freaking sad man I can't believe it what's happened to him. Wish he could somehow recover and be on the grid again watching his son.
Perhaps it is simply because he felt bad for bluntly interupting a phone call, which he did, unknowingly but it was rude, so Martin would have felt bad for doing that. Michael still willing to speak to him after that probably really surprised Martin, still reeling from his faux pas. It 'is' Schumacher, but they were team mates back in the day, so that's nothing.
@@klauskinski2218 maybe it had something to do with almost having his leg amputated and no longer being able to brake with his left foot, just a thought.
It will never happen I guess, but I hope we can see Michael at a Grand Prix one day again. Him watching in the Mercedes garage, or at Ferrari watching Seb. Or cheering on Max Verstappen. Or Mick!
CroweDharmaReloaded he cant even stand even with therapists holding him after 4 years :( he has no idea who he is and what he has done atleast thats what i heard #KeepFightingMichael
Formula 1 has never been the same since Michael Schumacher retired and it never will be ever again, keep fighting Michael we desperately miss you 🏎🏎🏎🏎🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🐐🐐🐐🐐
We all want Michael to recover I'm sure but I think we have to accept that he's always going to be a vegetable for the rest of his life. That's the only reason I can think why we have not seen him in public for this long. But I think you have to commend his wife and son for always sticking with him and holding out for hope one day that he might recover somehow. That will be one hell of a miracle for sure.
So, by your own admission, you can only assume that because you haven't seen him yourself in a few years, he's therefore a "vegetable." And then there's the genius replying that death would be better, but he follows it with "god bless him" like a completely illogical fool. What, did your god do the damage to him on a day that Michael had an impure thought or something? Or maybe it's to test his faith. Or any other number of idiocies that anyone mentioning a deity's involvement would come up with as a laughably arrogant fool.
'I'm not driving, your not driving so it should be clean' 'Yeah I'm not going to run into you' What if Brundle originally taught Schumacher to be physically aggressive to his opponents on the race track. Hungary '92, Schumacher put both himself and Benetton teammate Martin Brundle in a jeopardizing situation when he performed a clumsy overtake on his team's lead driver. Brundle subsequently smashed into the back of Schumacher's car in revenge a few laps later. Schumacher continued for a few laps before his rear wing detached and his car was pitched out of control and off the circuit. Is Brundle one of Schumacher's earlier incident in Formula One? We had a Senna vs Brundle documentary, what about a Schumacher vs Brundle movie as well. He was the early influence and challenge for two of the sport's best world champions.
@@flipflop4396 True, but if you actually look at the championship standings through the years none of Michael's teammates were closer to him than Brundle until Rosberg
Brundle and Schumi had an awfully tense relationship. Started in 1992, when Brundle disliked some of the moves Michael made on track, continued when Michael was vilified in 96 and 97, with Brundle being one of his most outspoken critics. I suspect a part of it is genuine by Martin, but there is jealousy there as well. Can we really say Michael was cheaper by Senna? Probably. But not by much, and it's certainly not reflected in most debates about who is the best.
Brundle had retired from F1 long before Schumacher. He's also 10 years older. Many athletes choose to let themselves go after retiring and take it easy!
ofc he would be mad... A 33 year old veteran beaten by a 23 year old second year outqualified 16-0... It's just that after all the hype like : " If Martin gets a good car , he'll win" Brundle thought he is one of the greatest , but just need a right car... But when a 23 year old 2nd year newboi brought him back to the ground , he was broken... Even Bottas doesn't have such a bad record of being outqualified
@@abhiverma9316 last time I checked bottas can brake with his left foot, Martin almost had his amputated, before then he was challenging senna in f3 and putting an uncompetitive Brabham on the podium.
The producer talks to them, if for example they only have 10 seconds left to talk or he might say Schumi is up ahead see if he'll do an interview. The producer can see loads of different camera shots of the grid and the people on it.
Seems to be a Schumacher love in on here, some of the anti Brundle comments are hilarious. At least we can see who aren't F1 fans and know nothing about the sport
Looking fit herr Schumacher but sometimes he who dares.... to think young Brundle (here) is now reduced to trying to talk to marvel heros instead of real ones like Michael....
Anyone else remember when you would only find genuine racing enthusiasts on an F1 gridwalk and not a load of stupid influencers who spread their self entitled "celebrity" banner like a disease?
Megan The Stallion brought me here.. No-one ever wants to talk to Martin Brundle on a F1 starting grid, even 7 time F1 world champion Micheal Schumacher.
Martin was actually a very good driver, if you look at his stats against teammates throughout his career. Of course, he paled in the shadow of Schumacher and Hakkinen, but then again who didn’t?
@@9wowable only noticed your reply today when my comment got a like.... nice rebuttal, clever & well thought out! Has zero to do with what I said & zero to do with a non Brit but that's fine when you obviously suffer from the Dunning Kruger effect Lazslow! 🙄
@@TheBatmanjbHow exactly? Arrogance is the exaggeration of one’s abilities. Schumacher is one the greatest that the sport has ever seen... As much as there is to criticise about Schumacher, arrogance isn’t one of them because he delivered.
