Thanks for this video. My Panasonic NN-SN686S would stop after about 3 seconds. The continuity for the 3 door switches tested OK, but I noticed some electrical residue on one of the switches, so I replaced all 3 switches, which resolved the issue. The cost was $40 from the Panasonic site.

My microwave won't work unless there is something it it that it can cook. If it's empty, it kind of buzzes and stops after a few seconds. Same happens to microwave popcorn. A dinner or bowl of water are no problem. It's a Magic Chef. I assume it has some sort of moisture sensor that might be bad.

See channel for O S cutright The Real Fix”. 😂 --Looks like he discovered that microwave was still in demo mode. Option not electrical nor mechanical. He used settings for time let it time out, then touch through options to find demo, then let that time out. After that microwave properly heats.

I pressed start on mine because if you just press start on mine, it goes for 30 seconds and as soon as it goes down three seconds it just says ended even though it’s only been three seconds

See youtuber O S Cutright, he found what he titles the The Real Fix. On the.touch pad, he shows how to find option to bring microwave out of demo mode. After that it heats. He’s not a tech and didn’t explain how he found out. Certainly safer than getting a fatal or braining numbing zap.

My microwave starts and after 10 seconds no power to magnetron but fan is running. The counter also stops after 10 seconds. No power to high voltage transformer. Need help please. Moulinex microwave

Fahim Zaywari Try blowing the air vents, turning it off for a few seconds and then changing the plug/switch it goes into. I know it's frustrating.

Mine would go on for half a second and turns off. I fixed it by slamming the microwave door lol I just wanted my food and I was frustrated. It worked though and now I can enjoy my pizza rolls

Sounds like your door switch is starting to go bad. Double check and make sure there is no debris build up in the door as well.
