MIDST | Fold | Season 1 Episode 4 

I love the mention that ice is an expensive commodity, while Mr. Weepe was smashing ice cubes for an entire episode. Changes the tone of that conversation just a little bit.

I am learning that every 'chapter'/episode starts with a sentence that includes something horrible. - The moon is gonna fall - He is here to blackmail - etc Sort of gives anticipation of "Oh dear what is gonna happen this time?"

One hell of cliffhanger. I expacted Fuze to be dead by the end of the episode, but now I will dread every episode he will show up in, thinking that this is the one who will die in. Well played narrators, well played.

Alright there's nothing more cruel than saying "He's a nice guy, too bad he's gonna die". i'm gonna have a panic attack each time this poor soul is mentionned TwT

God the moment lark walks in is soo fucking badass. Every episode has some moment where the music voiceover and art is top fucking notch

"Take from that what you will. You can take from that precisely what we give you. If you want" Stories are great, aren't they? Especially when part of the story is in the telling of it.

This is a wonderful example of show don’t tell, except for of course they are telling you everything that you know, but nuance within the world and characters and what you expect to be normal and what actually is normal is just so different, this is a wonderful story

What I've learned from the first 30 seconds, anyone genuine is extremely dangerous and must perish. Looking forward to the rest!

This just gets more and more interesting. Characters who were previously introduced finally interact with each other. There's so much weird stuff going on. Always more weird and interesting details added on. Also you can't just open with the fact that Fuze will meet a terrible fate and then not have him meet said fate by the end of the episode. That's cruel! Also, their power causes anomalies? Woowweeee^^

oh my god, i love the concept of the "tearror", and the word, a combination of tear, error and terror? brilliant

Now I just want to know more about Lark. What happened to her? An effect from the Fold? Also, man, poor Fuse. He sounds like a nice man.

The story hasn't even progressed that much but I'm totally invested in just the world building alone. Super cool and original universe you guys have built here

It's gonna take a while to get used to a Fuse without a kiwi accent. Too bad we won't get the time... Anyone else get "Welcome to Nightvale" vibes off of this? It's AWESOME!!

I really like this series (and to be honest i didnt thought i will like this format xd ) cant wait till next week!

The narration style feels like the performance scenes of Now You See Me and Now You See Me 2.

I waited to watch this for a while so that I could binge it all at once, and simultaneously I'm thinking "Wow, I'm glad I can binge it." and "Wow, I should've listened to this sooner."

I'll be honest I had no idea what to expect but 4 episodes in I am completely hooked. I only wish they were longer! Happy to hear a decent radio show again, I used to listen to these as a kid but it has been awhile since I've heard one I wanted to listen to non-stop. :)

The writing in this series has seriously opened up my brain in my own writing. Ive been struggling with my narrative writing because my brain literally does what the narrators are saying/doing. Like in episode 2. "Youve already met one of the other protagonists but we're not going to tell you who. Its Lark. Okay, yes we are."

In the original version of this episode, they mentioned Lark's dreadlocks twice as something setting her apart from the "sophistication" of the other patrons, which always put me off when re-listening. Glad they changed it

Love the air of mystery in all this

It's quite enjoyable to listen to. A bit hard to navigate through all the names without a proper visual and because all voices are more or less similar, but I guess it will just take time. Good listen!

This is such an interesting story. I'm glad the episodes are so short because I definitely find myself going back to listen to them with the new context each episode provides. The source of their power is so unstable it can turn your mouth upsidedown and create boiling craters nearby??? Holy shit this world keeps getting more unhinged

I love love love this series! The character work, the setting, the unique narration, outstanding! One point of feedback I want to add regarding narration (could just be personal preference) but I find it a bit distracting/disorienting when a specific character's speech is narrated by a different narrator. This is not for any other bit of the story, mind you. I really enjoy the almost competing - but quite complementary - narration style. But for some reason characters are an exception to this. When a character is given a voice in an audio-story I expect it to persist and when it doesn't I often times have to do a double-take or have to rely on the closed captions for the "[As Character]" disambiguation which tends to take away from the story. But other than that, truly wonderful work and hope you continue making wonderful bits of media, you three are really talented have a great dynamic going! I understand that at times this is unavoidable, at others it is a narrative choice, which is why this is more of a nitpicky feedback and goes to show how wonderful your story telling is :)

Too much character, in too little time in EVERY episode up until current. Too many voices telling one characters story in EVERY episode making it IMPOSSIBLE to connect to ANY character. At all!! MIDST is a huge flop. MIDST the point ENTIRELY!!

I know i will get my comment disliked to oblivion but when the trailer said "Midst feels like VR to your brain" I was expecting way more than just...a podcast.

Meh, it just feels as if the voice actors' scripts are full of ellipses. Or that they are constantly trying to "seduce" me into the story. For me it has made the whole thing impossible to follow. Tried for 4 episodes, but no. Sorry, not for me.

The cadance in which narrator 1 talks is super annoying. What's with the abrupt change in speed, the unnecessary and pointless pauses? It makes the whole thing unwatchable, I can't stand it.

I wish this was on a different channel so I could not have it clog up my feed. I subscribed for critical role, not this.
