I love these guys. They are indeed one of the finest marching bands in history. And "On Wisconsin" just may be the best college fight song of all time! Thank you Mike.

We will always love and remember him Go Badgers!!

During my first year in the band, I had the honor to hold the ladder for him for several pre-games and halftime shows. No matter where we traveled, the ladder followed :). Now I need to get off the damn internet.

Years ago the UWM marching band was in West Bend, WI at the twin high schools and they put on quite a show. I danced the polka with Mike Leckrone :)

What a great send off!!! You see the fans and band members having an absolute blast with this performance!!! Best wishes Michael despite this post being a little late...lol. You will always and moreover in our thoughts. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL GREAT YEARS AS THE BADGER BAND LEADER. You will be missed hope you enjoy retirement.
