You know, it's really quite incredible that Mike Rutherford worked with, wrote songs for, & in some ways help made 4 fantastic singers international superstars, who were all talented instrumental musicians in their own right: Peter Gabriel Phil Collins Paul Carrack Paul Young that's one hell of an achievement....
Given Mike's respectful manner, he was blessed to be able to use what I have been taught: the definition of luck is the intersection between preparation and opportunity. Wonderful work ethic, as well.

i love paul carrack from my hometown sheffield hes my favorote singer so is paul young a lovely class song,i love this band there timeless,nice beat,this is a masterpiece song.i love m and m great original line up.....love this rip paul young i miss your m n m music
This should have been a bigger hit. It isn’t their best but it’s catchy, well-sung by Paul and sounds like it had chart potential. Same goes for A Time and Place.
This song is a really great pop song. It's got all the right ingrediants. Why the record company did'nt push it I'll never know. I'm from New York and Florida but I first heard the song in London and thought it was brilliant.

I guess they had to find something for him to do in the video, as he was in the band but didn’t sing this one. And Mike couldnt play guitar and bass at once.
Frankly the three were all so talented they could all pretty much play most instruments certainly bass, Keyboards and percussion and swap around on stage as needed.
