Hahaha 🤣 I should’ve thrown a diamond block in my redstone build I just made for TB on Saturday! I’ll be sure to throw one in my next redstone build just for you! 😂 Great video as always mate! Nice and compact!
Still working 23/07/2024. Had some issues getting the droppers right, and the observer below, but that was all user error. If your having problems just refer to the video and figure out where you've differentiated. If you've fixed a problem, but for some reason the first redstone torch remains constantly powered then you may need to reset the droppers. That's what happened to me after I fixed mine. I wish you all well in your builds!
You built this a year ago so I couldn't build it on the ps4. But now with Bedrock edition on the ps4 I decided to add it to the Bikini Bottom build I did for the kids and it works beautifully. The kids love it. My son said it's just like the one that Sandy Cheeks has at her entrance. So yeah, we're all mind blown. I thank you so much. You are greatly appreciated. 👍👍
I built this on my underwater cave base and have been getting issues with the water not draining when the door closes which results in flooding. Any ideas on how to fix this? Edit: I fixed it by removing the junk block from the dropper and the water from the dispenser then putting the water back first in the dispenser and placing the junk block back in the dropper.
if you guys find the same problem of the lever washing away try replacing the block near the piston that activates a observer with target block and the door will open if you shoot an arrow in the target block the only downside is you have to have a bow at all times
Whenever I go into the base, the outer door opens to quickly and lets water in. The water buckets at the top drain to slowly and let more water into the base. Any idea on how to fix this?
Seems to work just fine for me. Maybe you accidentally broke something? Also instead of using the droppers you can use a copper bulb to replace the T-flip flop. This applies to most builds with a T-flip flop.
Ah Thanks, I think for a door like this you needed to see it working in a world to really show how it practically works :) Haha not all redstone projects will have builds to compliment them... shame though aha 😂 Thanks! Means a lot :)
Can you explain where I’ve gone wrong, it all works but my scrap piece (dirt) moves from the dropper I put it in which is nearest the comparator over to the other dropper and then the entire thing stops working until I put the scrap piece (dirt) back in its original dropper.
Please use mine because Manish chaudhuri has a wrong spelling of bow tie man his is bow tie mam your not mam your a man please use me. I hope you get it. 😁😁😁😁😀😀😀😕😕😐😐😢😢😱😱
Hello just so you know this also works on ps4 (because ps4 is a version of bedrock just updated later on) this build worked perfectly for my under water research center on my creative so thank you for the design
Who else came here to see how mumbo jumbo did it in his underwater bunker i will subscribe cause you do a tutorial almost on everything mumbo jumbo does and that helps me a lot and also nice texture pack
Hey Bow Tie Man I made a world called Dizzyworld's Minigames and it is full of your Redstone creations! I made a hotel that has 6 different contraptions that were made by you. I love your videos a lot! It helped me out a ton with making elevators. Thanks!
Bit of a problem. If you're trying to build this in survival underwater, the redstone pops off. I'd really not like to have to build a dome over my airlock while I'm building it to keep it dry. Otherwise, great build
Could some redstone genius out in the comments please help me the water is not draining and the dispensers are just throwing teh water buckets on the floor please help Edit: Never mind I fixed it by putting empty buckets of water in the dispenser great tutorial I love this entrance!
Now this build is “broken” but what I’ve seen so far is the redstone dot that’s next to the dispenser can probably be turned into a repeater and the repeater that is coming out of the redstone dot can be turn into a redstone dot
Poketay Mon yes but actually no See when a redstone engineer (such as myself) is referring to a single piece of redstone they will 9 times out of 10 call it a redstone dot because that was what it looked like back in the true redstone days (when redstone was becoming a huge thing) so you are right now it’s a cross but the correct term for a singular piece of redstone is still and always will be “a redstone dot”
I figured out an insanely easy way to do it... just dig a block down, and put a sign on top of it so it wont get destroyed by water. And then pressing the button would make pistons push in sponges removing all the water.
Yeah good idea, they seem to be everywhere, even in rivers... crazy 😂 and the one with tridents are crazy strong, even when you have enchanted diamond 🤨😂
2nd suggestion infinite piston extender? like how to build 4- how long can pistons can go, i saw alot of vids but only for pc, waiting what you can come up, love your channel so much, fighting
6:46 When I was digging to get to the spot to place that block, I dug into an underground ravine. I would've fallen straight into lava. Needless to say, I got distracted and now I'm lost in an abandoned mineshaft.
Hi Random Comrade, Just tested it and watched carefully from Java edition. It doesn't appear to work because of Java redstone's Quasi-Connectivity. At 5:58, you'll notice Bow Tie Man uses a Redstone Block to power the doors. This particular mechanism only works in Java, because the redstone block will, through quasi-connectivity, unintentionally power the top door sticky piston (quasi connectivity powers blocks if the block above would be powered). EDIT: Also, levers and buttons don't work underwater. So the air chamber being flooded with water will wash away your lever/button whenever you turn it on.
Answering my own question...it seems there is and I built it backward. All working well after I rebuilt. (I'm new to all of this so I'm sure there are easier ways.)
Hey thanks man for helping me with redstone! You really are a great guy! Keep the videos coming! My favorite of your vids is probably your down and over door!
Hey THANKS A LOT the underwater airlock helped a lot! I have seen almost every single one of your vids! they are awesome! The epic little video for the showcase was cool too! Can I get a shoutout! That would be great! YOU'RE AWESOME!!!
Hey, no problems mate :D Thanks! 😁 I'm glad you like them 👍🏼👍🏼 Haha my "epic" showcase, I fancied doing something different, pleased you like it mate. I actually have stopped the shoutouts now, but who knows I may bring them back in the future :) Thanks for the lovely comment mate! Means a lot 😄👍🏼
