nice one Nobby sometimes that how bargains are picked up if a bit scruffy, just a gamble sometimes, but turned out well, i also sometimes make a note on date and price of things in my workshop price to remind me. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 see you next time atb kev
Thanks Kev. I also keep a notebook of all the bits and pieces in the workshop, so the family know the value of the items, for when the time comes. So they won't get ripped off. 🤔 Cheers Nobby
@@nobbysworkshop yes i've done a video of my major items, infact you've reminded me it needs updating. 🤔🤔 nobody in the family will want my collection, not interested. i'm a bit gutted about that but heyho. Thats why i am an a mission to wear them out.😉😉🤣🤣👍👍👍👍
That is probably the biggest selling metal lathe in the world Nobby. I had one for a while. Pretty much unbeatable for the money. Some people do amazing work on them. Cheers Rob
You're right Rob. These lathes are sold under so many different names, and all very similar. They are certainly capable of extremely accurate work. I have another video coming up, machining some small parts. ATB Nobby
Thanks Andre, I have to keep the workshop clean and tidy as it's so small. I try to keep to a rule of tidying the tools away after each session if possible. Thanks for watching. Cheers Nobby
Nice to see it working at the end, nice metal hand wheels, they all seem to be plastic on the newer ones. I have a mini Warco which is on my long list to make some metal hand wheels TTFN Mark
I think this was a quite an old machine Mark. I guess the plastic handles is to save money. I think I could have just carried on with the mini lathe, but I've always wanted to own a Myford. That was a dream come true. Cheers Nobby
Over the years I've made a lot of bits and pieces with it, but not much for the RU-vid channel. I do have a video coming up, were I made some small parts on it. Hope it's interesting Julia. ATB Nobby
