Also, the fact you mention pits and bits cleansing is wonderful. This is speaking to the people that truly need to hear it. So many depressed or overwhelmed or chronically ill people need to hear these things. Lots of people on RU-vid talk self care and go into 30 minute facial cleansing and "oh I'm only spending two hours doing yoga and journaling today because things are hectic" and it's so unrelatable to most people but especially those whose energy is rock bottom. And you relayed each minimal task with a total lack of judgement. 👏

Oh trust me, I know how hard it can be to find the energy for these things. Especially when emotionally drained. I’m glad you believe it will be helpful to people. ^_^ I absolutely love reading your take on my videos as I believe you have a beautiful way of seeing things. You strike me as very considerate of others. ^_^

Oh this was a lovely variety of suggestions! I'll keep this video in mind when I'm stressed or in an emotional or energetic valley. I've been contemplating how to get to bed and wake up at the same time every day and make it stick. This just helped me realize maybe if I give myself a window of time "I will go to bed between this and this time" instead of an exact time, I'll see it as less daunting. Lightbulb! Thanks!

100%! I don’t look at the time and go “well, better get to sleep right away”. I generally say “is it closed to or past 8:30?” If it’s within a 10min window before or after that time, I start getting ready. Brushing teeth, washing face, etc. and I make sure I don’t do anything too stressful or time consuming after 8. That way it never bleeds into my sleep time. If I’m watching a movie or show, I make sure not to start anything so late that will end after 9pm. And of course I remind myself that it’s okay to leave a task half done or a movie half watched and get back to it the next day. That seems to help me. ^_^ I hope it helps you too.

@@happyandauthentic Yes I get my second wind later at night and I need to follow your advice and not start larger projects. Rose "I give myself a ten minute window either side of 8:30" Ellen "I'm going to bed somewhere between 10 and 11" Your window is cracked, my window is WIDE open .😂 Hope you're having a good day.

Don't expect too much from people, you'll only be disappointed.

I find that expectations are always a source of pain. Not being attached to an outcome is always best for emotional and mental health. :)
