Twins getting Castro for nothing was a good pickup still weird tigers literally just cut him maybe he needed to be on a serious team to turn into this but even in Detroit always been a solid player who can play a handful of positions

Joe Ryan’s rising fastball is his greatest strength and weakness. He is a strikeout machine throughout the regular season , but in a playoff setting, it scares me. But as Declan said, Ryan’s HR rate is better. So that’s good.

The Twins just finished an easy schedule, after the all-star game the schedule gets tough. Statistics are great, they don't win pennants. Series wins are good, you only need to make it to the playoff with big game pitchers to win it all. This is fact, the Twins are still missing a big game pitcher, period.

Based on what? Hitting wise you have to expect a large drop off for a Rookie going from AAA to the MLB. Defensively, there is a massssssive difference between the two. Twins pitching has been fantastic with Vaz the past year and half. Why try and ruin that for a few extra hits from Camargo

@@benjames4502I would be in favor of that if they can find a quality backup. They will ride Vazquez catching up until the playoffs to save Jeffers and then bench him for the playoffs or call him in late for defensive purposes

I don't really have a problem with Vazquez right now. He plays good defense and can throw guys out trying to steal 2nd. Can't expect much more from a back up catcher

why the twins haven't sent down Kyle farmer and is still letting him take playing time away from Austin Martin is beyond me. Farmer's struggles at the plate have gone beyond just a slump, the dude is trash at hitting baseballs

If the Twins DFA Farmer they still have to pay his salary for the remainder of this season. Derek Falvey doesn't want to do that because he would be admitting he made a mistake in signing Farmer to a contract. It would show that Falvey wasted some of Polhlad's money.
