Minnesota Vikings vs. Philadelphia Eagles | 2022 Week 2 Highlights 

As someone that's been preaching patience with Hurts and have been on the bandwagon going back to Bama, I'm so happy to see him begin to convert some of his doubters into believers. Just week 2, so I'm not going to overreact but thus far, he's done nothing except put a smile on my face.

Jefferson had a nice game, limiting Slay to only 2 receptions on 5 balls thrown his way

I've always believed in Hurts right from his first few plays covering for Wentz, It's so damn good to see not just Him but the whole team working as one cohesive unit.

The Eagles are definitely a team to look for this season 🔥🔥

The combination of Brown,Smith,Watkins, and Goedert is insane. I was worried Hurts would target Brown too much but he spread the ball EVERYWHERE. The Eagles offensive potential was on full display and its scary good.

As a Lions fan, I'll admit I already didn't feel too bad about that week one lose, but I feel even better now. The Eagles are legit, Hurts is for real, and hopefully this version of Cousins shows up on Sunday!

As a lions fan who’s following the eagles after week 1, they’re the real deal. Hurts is definitely taking a step forward this year and I can’t wait to see how Philly does the rest of the way.

Clearly Hurts has been putting in the work this past off season. He has a much better command of the offense and is going through his progressions way better than he showed last season. Looking more like a passer who will run verses a running QB who is apprehensive passing! Excellent growth!!!

Lets give some love to the punters in this one. Ryan Wright was keeping the Vikings in the game and Arryn Siposs made a touchdown saving tackle after that blocked field goal try. 👌👌

You know it can't be good when you only see your team's defense for the first 2 minutes of the highlight reel.

This was the best overall game Hurts has had in his short career. His progression as a passer is turning this team into a legitimate super bowl contender. Also, huge props to the defense stymieing Cousins all night long. Jonathan Gannon really needed this one out of the D tonight because his game plan last week was atrocious.

Hurts deep ball to Quez gave me Foles/Jeffery vibes from the '17 NFC Championship game. To think this team is even more talented.. 🦅 Looking good through 2 weeks!

I've said it ever since the vikes gave cousins the first massive contract. He plays exceptional when the team is leading but is the complete opposite when they're trailing, and his track record in prime time games is also very telling. I applaud cousins for somehow making the coaching staff and organization still believe in him.

Not even a Eagles fan but lowkey Hurts is developing very well it looks like. 2nd career record breaking game for him and probably his best game he's ever had. The Eagles look scary right now. Wouldn't be surprised to see them rip through the NFC considering the NFC is weak right now overall.

This Eagles have an explosive offense the way they beat us last week they have a great number receiver in AJ Brown Good to see big play Slay getting 2 ints.

I don't care what anybody says, Jalen Hurts has the biggest chip on his shoulder. Got benched by Saban in the Naty for Tua, transferred to OU and received tons of backlash for it and showed it was a great move in the long run, checking off all these different boxes for what you want in a Franchise QB, undefeated thus far, young QB with a great defense, this guy is doing great!

I’ve been a Jalen Hurts skeptic, but he straight balled out tonight. This is a game to remember for the whole team.

As a Cowboys fan, I am scared to play the Philadelphia eagles. They look very dangerous on both sides of the football. I never thought Jalen Hurts was a bad quarterback. I just really thought they needed to build the team around himb when he first got there It looked very bleak for the Eagles. What a quick turnaround they've had I got to give nothing but props.

I`ve been watching Hurts since he was at Alabama. He`s one of those guys that continues to get better and better every year. I would`ve never thought he would get to this level of QB play. Always a good football player but now he`s on another level with it. Great job from him proving all the doubters wrong.

Jalen Hurts has improved tremendously this offseason and it helps adding AJ Brown to the team. Eagles have a legit shot not just winning the division but also a possible Super Bowl run.

A lot of Vikings fans talking smack all week saying hurts sucks we don't have as much talent as them. I said we do have loads of talent and so does Minnesota but don't try to minimize ours. The eagles showed all them haters just how much talent we have on both sides of the ball. This team is a family. They love one another and play hard for each other they will only get better. Sometimes you have to look straight at the leadership standpoint of a player and how confident they really are in their play. I’m a year younger than Jalen hurts and knew he was the real deal going into the season last yr cause I have never seen that leadership from a person that close to my age before. The only player I’ve seen having this great of leadership at the age of 24 was patty Mahomes. There’s tons of great qb leaders but i think mahomes and Hurts are atop the list of the young players and I don’t care what anyone else thinks

I was very impressed with Hurts ability to recognize the coverage at the snap of the ball and know where to go with the ball. He was able to throw into windows most didn't expect. Then using his legs to either extend plays or keep the chains moving. The Vikings played mostly zone to keep eyes on Hurts scrambling ability and Hurts picked them apart with great coverage recognition, ball placement and going thru his progressions before scrambling. He has definitely shown more growth as a consistent and efficient passer more than the likes of a Lamar Jackson...

The eagles are playing a college level pace. They run the ball throw the ball and QB run. Hurts is refreshing to watch. Bringing a young and fast approach to a league that is usually played like a chess match. Can’t wait to see what this Eagles team holds they are a threat!!

Hurts keeps proving you haters wrong. He stands in the pocket and delivers deep, and hit every receiver on the field. Also philly held them to only 7 points the same Vikings defense that held the Packers to just 7 last week

The Vikings needed this loss for their own good. All I heard all week here in Minnesota is how good the Vikings looked, and how we are gonna win our division and maybe even the NFC. I couldn't stand it. I knew you can't tell that from one home game where we got hot. I knew on the road against a good team things would be different. Now they know they have a lot to work on. Defense, secondary, O line, everything. Eagles played great. You guys look like the real NFC champions. I don't see many NFC teams beating you guys at home if Hurts stays healthy. I say that because I think he runs too much for how valuable he is. I get it, he's a great runner, and needs to run some, but he's shown that his passing ability is too valuable to risk injury running too much. If he keeps running like that Eagles fans will hold their breath every game.
