I have been looking for this for weeks. I remember watching it when it first came out when I was a young teen and now I’m approaching thirty and can’t believe time has gone by so fast. My love for Star Wars is as strong as ever and videos like this amplified that feeling and stayed. Thank you.
This is quite possibly the best fan made lightsaber duel I have ever seen. Great choreography, music editing, picture editing, script, acting and cinematography. The acting especially was a standout, dramatic yet not overplayed. The line you delivered while twirling the lightsabre was remarkably well done. Superb all the way.
11 years on and I watched this again. Still one of the best out there ; pace, acting and swordsmanship- plus that extra layer of emotional choreography. As a fencer of Olympic sabre I appreciate it not just cosmetically, but technically. Hugely commendable. The dialogue regardless of any sort of stage accent, ( and I don’t applaud the way that people who only speak English see fit to criticise multi- lingual’s who are doing them a favour by speaking their only tongue...); you guys are the bomb. Transmission... out. 😉
I posted a response to this outstanding work some time ago. Today, having a minute to myself away from my little children, I by accident watched it again. I have to say chaps, you are, in this part-time jedi's opinion, the most compelling, intelligent and fluent translators of this Jedi armchair theatre. You didn't have the cash of Ryan and Dorkman. You do give a better performance, refined yet brutal. Thanks again. C.
Sith using Dun Moch;Check. Jedi kills Sith with Trakata:Chech. Extremely well choreographed and I didn't even notice anything wrong with the sound. Awesome duel.
I just wanna say that the finisher in this clip,...is GENIUS. I had to watch it a second time to get it because I missed how slick it was the first time. That was cool
This is an amazingly good video. It is a good attempt at a fanfilm and doesn't get predictable or boring like alot of poorly done videos. Well done on all involved
I actually liked how those opportunities were not taken to kill each other. It just kinda made the whole battle a little more civil in nature than just ruthless killing. This battle was an excellent example of the Chivalric Code and how the Knights f Christendom treated their opponents well instead of cheating and using dirty tactics. Well done on this film. I loved it.
Best fan made lightsaber duel I've ever seen, worthy of the movies! I have yet to check the Clash, but since it led to this new one I'm expecting it to be just as fascinating.
That fight is brilliant if you look at it from a dramatic point of view. The battle is taking place in their minds and words, not their blades. We did put in a short section of "A New Hope" choreography on purpose.
you know, that's inventive. i never thought of a saber fight where you turn the saber off then turn it back on, thrusting the saber inside their opponent. very nice.
