Wanted to add that Miranda’s comments in response to the documentary seem genuine and fair, my only question for the couple is are they being compensated fairly for there incredible talent!!
The dance company has a grievance of the financial manipulation of the pastor to which some left the Church. As far as Robert his preaching theology is false not to mention the sexual abuse of certain women in the Church. Robert is a very typical example of Church authority gone wrong, perhaps started out as good with a healthy vision but quickly succumb to the lure of power.
I don't know what to think, it's all just so weird! They are all good actors as well as awesome dancers. They seem intelligent... I really hope this isn't true! Could it all be an act to promote all of them, they sure are know now if not enough before 🤔
I see where you're coming from, however it's more than likely 7M, Maranda, and even the other dancers in this cult will be losing MANY contracts and jobs due to this coming out. No one is going to want to work with individuals who are caught up or associated with this. In addition, their are court records and financial statements that backup the claims in this story.
First, EVERYTHING Maranda is saying, had to be altered and approved by the church. Please, take note of that as you listen to her. Next, she states that the docuseries is "one-sided." I actually can agree with that, however who's fault is that? All the dancers, Robert Shinn, Robert Shinn's family, 7M, and Shikina were all asked to participate or at least give statements to be included in the film. They refused in the belief that the documentary wouldn't gain much attention. So, ask yourself, Why now is she and 7M making statements? Why now when the film is number one on Netflix and the public is outraged?
