I recommend the Pop Spring live concert. They do 4 songs, 3 originals and one cover. High quality, with choreography!

What's amazing is that the Evolution videos are filmed in one shot straight through! They may do 3 or 4 takes to decide who h is best, but it's always fine in one take! And yes, please start a Pentatonix Playlist! The Pentaholics will love you for it!! 😅 🤗💖

The Christmas tour just finished, with 2-3 concerts in the DFW area. The "trio" -- Scott, Mitch and Kirstie -- are all from Arlington, all did children's musicals in the DFW area, and all ended up at Martin High School in Arlington. They were choir and theater kids, and got together to do arrangements of pop songs. Scott and Kirstie went off to college in 2010 (Mitch had one more year of high school). In 2011 Scott found out about a TV reality show for a capella singing groups, talked Mitch and Kirstie into skipping school to enter the show, and recruited Kevin and Avi to be the rhythm section. They were supposed to get a recording contract from the show, so they all moved to Los Angeles (the trio were all 19 years old) and then the label dropped them. They decided to hang in, started recording videos for RU-vid and built their following from the show.

If you haven't "90"s Dance Medley" is INSANE!!! Other great medley's Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Rhianna they are all good. Scott, the blonde, is actually a Baritone, one step above bass..(See "Sounds of Silence") Original's Early "Love again", Middle "Sing" , Late " Coffee in Bed". Loved it.

Great reaction! The deep voice was Avi. He is the only member that has left the group in 2017 because of family problems. The new bass is Matt. Their evaluation of Michael Jackson is my favorite evaluation song of theirs.

The tour was Nov and Dec, and several shows in Texas before they went home for Christmas in Arlington, Texas.

Can't hold us has dancing if you are interested. Scott (blonde) is Baritone, Mitch countertenor ( or high tenor), Avi (mr low) is a bass, Kevin (beatbox) tenor, Kirsten is a soprano .

Avi, the deep voice, is a basso profondo (he studied opera before joining PTX), which is the deepest voice. He's been known to blow out speakers with his low notes.

The awesome low voice is Avi Kaplan! You should react to his solo music it is special. He has songs under Avriel and the Sequioas, and Avi Kaplan, he also collaborated with Peter Hollens on Black is the Color of my True Loves Hair. His music is varied mostly originals with just a few covers. You will NOT be disappointed.

They played in Grand Prairie Dec 22nd & 23rd. I was at both performances. If I had known you lived in the area, I certainly would've taken you instead of someone who had seen them several times before.

Thank you for reacting to this early Pentatonix video. They are amazing. My favorite Evolution Of... video is "Evolution Of Rihanna". I look forward to your reaction to it. Other Pentatonix suggestions: "Havana", "New Rules x Are You That Somebody?" ans "Mad World". A Pentatonix playliist would be helpful.

Their Evolution videos are the best. Typically recorded in this same format in one take. This was an early one, and their transitions have only gotten more impressive. Evolution of Michael Jackson and Evolution of Arianna Grande are 2 good ones to check out.
