MIXING ON THE SOFTUBE CONSOLE 1 

Thanks so much for including me in one of your videos! This track was my first attempt at a professional record and mix two years ago. So lots of issues. Great job navigating that. I've learned a lot since then. Fascinating to see someone with their own take on the track. My challenge is I write and play the songs and then I have to switch gears and become the mix engineer. I know too much about all of the parts! I put in my vote to hear this track mixed on your big console. This song is meant to be all analog so would love to see what you could do with it in your true realm. Great job Wyste!

I got anxiety watching this. Guitar players always write songs that showcase an insane amount of extra riffing at the expense of the actual song. literally have no breathing room whatsoever, like even the best guitar players of all time didn’t need to layer 5 different guitar tracks. Such a cluttered arrangement that the mixing becomes a Herculean task.

I love my Softube C1 so much that in my spare time I watch videos of other people mixing with C1 on RU-vid LOL

That snare reverb is awful ! Too much much mud ,totally covering the tone of the snare.

To be honest, not impressed at all. I was looking forward to buy this unit but now I realise that the emulation quality is very low and the plug-in creates a lot of fase issues and unpleasant harmonics. Thanks for the video mate.

Would be cool seeing you mix the same song with your neumann!

One starts speaking Spanish and her pronunciation was flawless. I said who taught you Spanish, she said well the vowels are the same but her husband was a Puerto Rican smiling.

He should have never bounced the midi tracks that early in the process. I guess he thought he was finished with them but there's a ton or improvement that those need and that is the beauty of midi - you can modify them forever util you have them just right.

watching you struggling here makes me feel better. I'm not the one who from time to time doesn't know what to do. But you have the balls to show it!
