For anyone who's wondering, the EQ is modeled after the Hendyamps Michelangelo. I have the hardware version. It's unbelievable. Can't speak for the emulation, but Acustica is amazing, so I'd definitely give it a try!
Do anyone know what preamp do on every indigo plugins? I can't ear anything, is it buggy or what? I stil didn't understood what aggression knob does, any hint?
Sometimes you have to pull up an analyzer to realize what the preamps are doing. They are always doing something, mostly harmonics, but it can be subtle.
@@Mixorcist Thank you very much for your reply. I've tryed with an analyzer but i see almost nothing. I love preamps when i can hear what they are doing, i've done a lot of testing, with indigo on different material, and they just seems a bias button/knobs. I also opened a ticket, because i think they are broken, and it's a shame, i mean they could give us a lot of fun if audible
Enjoying the overviews, but I think you really did the stereo field plugin an uneducated run there. Most AA has a simple M/S knob, but _all_ the unique action happens with the big arse middle knob and you didn't explore that control?!
@@gdansk12349 yeah they look alike, but there’s only 1 EQ that has this exact configuration. I can’t be certain, but 99% sure this is the Michelangelo, the buttons are labeled identically “mid shift” “vintage” etc. the hardware unit is bonkers I’d have a look at it
Well, they legally *can’t* say what it is if it’s not officially licensed because if they did they’d be open to lawsuits. I agree they tend to be vaguer than most but that’s also because they model stuff no one else is modeling, so it’s not as obvious. There is an Acustica sampled hardware list that a kind person keeps up to date if you Google for it
You get used to it. It's essentially loading sample files every time you turn a knob or press a button. It's the price you pay for hardware sampled fx. I used to be an acustica skeptic, now I can't stop throwing money at them.
A dev who releases that much new plugins makes me think it's mainly about making quick money, thus doubts about good quality. Nothing exciting just another AA plugin. B4 Erin was their best ever, then it was..., now it's... Same promise just in new clothes. Not even intend to demo, needs too much disk space anyway and cpu as usual. Fast food pizza made in Italy, maybe this time just with a little more onions added ;)
