Hey Evan, just fyi, the warranty from fcp only applies to the original purchaser. Also, the catback on it currently is still stock! Just has an apr downpipe and intake from what it looks like so it most likely is also running apr "stage 2" for the tune

Just a re comment if you didn't see even! I have a MK6 GLI (the MK7 is on the MQB platform MK6 is not). I actually did a custom IS38+ HPA swap in my garage on my youtube! FBO I am at 400 crank! Would love to come on out and help ya get an idea on the turbo swap or just let you know how the car will feel when its done (roughly) for some views and content for you! Let me know I'm a huge VW guy and the swap for your MK7 would be a breeze compared to the custom swaps! Love the car btw!!

For what it's worth, aluminum is used in antiperspirant deodorant, it literally clogs the pores that sweat comes out of. Non antiperspirants don't have aluminum

Bro, come to Brazil, we have GTIs running low 6s 60-130mph, stock engine, ecu and trans. We run our cars e100, with mods only in the low preasure injectures. We've been doing it for years, and we some GTIs with more than 500whp! (everything stock). The forejed ones have about 800bhp, and runs low 5s 60-130.

I had an Audi A3 Quattro with it tuned from IE and can’t say anything but great feedback from them and their customer service and tuning potential gear platform to be working with

Exhaust setup on the GTI looks like an APR catted downpipe to a stock GTI catback. It may have a resonator delete as well.

If you want a really good sounding exhaust that isn’t to loud get an awe tuning turbo back I used to have one on my mk6

EQT has a full e85 tuning option. You need to add port injection and you’re good to go. Definitely options out there to run straight e85

Ya another golf R turbo upgrade. They are really solid upgrade but I’d love to have seen a bigger turbo upgrade. It’s going to be a really fun car and plenty of power for a FWD GTi. I’ve helped 3 friends build IS38 GTi. Pretty strait forward for sure! Hope you enjoy your VW experience.

IE/fcp should’ve sent you a hybrid is38 or vortex xl. Oem is38 is gonna max out around 400 on ethanol

Have a golf r 2018 7.5 im excited to see how IE works with the GTI maybe i might dip into IE technology soon if it seems like a good way to go. Just so many options for tuning.

Honda K and J series motors and Dodges V6 in the Charger are a couple examples of engines that have integrated exhaust manifolds.

I have a 2019 VW Golf R been thinking on doing 3.5inch straight pipe. So there for you should do a straight pipe.

I’ve done all IE products on my audis and they aren’t ones to disappoint!! I love the company glad to see some euro stuff on the channel!! Do a forged diverter valve from gfb they sound crazy with an intake and the upgraded turbo. Also I’ve never personally used a blow off valves on the euro cars but I’ve heard the vw’s and audis aren’t fans with Bov’s but I may be wrong

I have a Mk4 GTI, and a ct200h lol I'm loving the euro content!

Hopefully she doesn't blow, mqb platform has tendency to not like much torqure north of 420. People tend to run in to quite a few reliability issues when they get to that territory. Being a turbo 2 liter owner myself I would suggest not wasting time putting on what I call noise mods. Turbo muffler delete for example. Leave it. Run stock intercooler piping and just upgrade the core. These are very capable motors and pretty much from the factory will put out great numbers with a simple tune. Dont go down the rabbit hole just keep it simple and clean. I hope she turns out rad!

I’m currently beefing with this kid in my neighborhood that thinks his pops and bangs tune on his fiesta ST is just the coolest thing ever. He feels the need to rev and pop past our house every morning at 7 (I’m assuming this is because he sees my roommate and I’s cars on the driveway.) pops and bangs are only cool in non residential areas kids.

So this series is coming at such a good time as i am getting my first vw in a mk7 jetta gli so alot of these parts are similar

That one part that you said no idea what it is it’s a turbo muffler delete it replaces the outlet on the turbo the big bulky bit it equals more turbo sounds

Evan! The 3.0L TT that comes in the Infiniti cars(Q50/Q60) and the upcoming 400Z have the same kind of turbo set up, where the turbos bolt straight to the head lol. It's really wacky to see, but this is what turbos are going to!

Hey Evan idk if you’ll see this, but you should definitely look into getting a Garrett GTX2867R turbo. That would make the car fast. ( if you could actually put the power down )

I think they do have a exhaust manifold however it's internal it's part of the block and it's cooled by coolant. It allows them to run a leaner afr I believe and keep exhaust Temps Lowe than the average car. Correct anything you see wrong it this comment. I had a mk7 and that was something I read a while ago
