Umpires should be fined and suspended when they blow calls and get called out on it. Sometimes they're responsible for a team losing and instead of manning up and admitting they may have been wrong they just start ejecting players and managers. There are way to many sensitive umps in the game these days and its time they start being held accountable.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I think it’s because of the umpire union. The MLB can’t fire or lay him off? Cause he definitely needs to be in Single A ball
Of the umpires currently in MLB which one is most likely to get punched out by an ejected player or manager? I think Angel Hernandez needs to get a severe beating
If McCutchen confronts you, you've really fucked up. One of the kindest and humble veteran players, if he tells you that your strikezone is awful, you shouldn't be arguing. You should be listening.
If and ump can grab your jersey and try to push then a player should have the right to push back just saying... C.B and Angel should be banned from umpiring in the majors. ....
9:20, Molina is such a punk... slows his pace just enough to let the boss catch up. Then, slows again to let him hold him back. Reminds me of Puig. Badass as long as there's a crowd between himself and his target.
It's really funny seeing these guys get into arguments with the umpires and the managers come barreling out of the dugout immediately getting themselves in between the umpires and players or other guys getting in between the umpires and players. Like they're gonna start swinging on the umpires and knock um out or something? It's hysterical to me!
No. The manager is trying to get there before the player gets ejected and to be the one ejected so the player stays on the field. Of the two, the manager is the one most easily substituted for, and he can even keep doing his job from the clubhouse. The player can't catch fly balls oe take an at-bat from there. And even if the player already got tossed the manager will want to get in between to not have the player suspended, further hurting the team.
Uploader, if I may make a suggestion, please show the pitcher throwing the the pitch a bit longer. The cuts start with the pitches already on the way or in the mitt and we don’t see how bad the calls are.
Why don't teams hire enforcers as they have in the mafia? Their job will be to put umps in the hospital and give them time to think about their decisions.
If MLB wants fans back how about we eliminate ejections and add a argument clock, player/manager can say whatever they want for 3 minutes without recourse. I'd love to see these quick trigger umps have to sit there and listen. Also, they should make them have a press conference after each game.
More accurate title: "20 Minutes of the Same Clips In A Hundred Other Videos Because That's All The Bad Calls We Can Scrape Together To Try and Prove Umpires Are Bad, Not Realizing That The Whole Reason These Videos Exist Is Because They Are Exceptions To The Rule"
exactly, makes no sense how west got a one game suspension for that, but if a player puts hands on an umpire he could be banned from MLB and fined heavily
1:43 not sure the context from this but it’s where it was when it went over the bag not where it landed past the umpire. I never even heard of that before.
Alot of the picthes snapped by too fast to judge it. But if you are not down in the count why get thrown out? These guys are pros. They know what will happen. But when you know you're right..... You are right! 😂
13:45 Gotta love Yankees announcers. Headley aggressively steps toward the ump and points the finger in his face first (13:50) yet they’re always the victims.
Here what I have an issue, the Bard situation. They are looking at it the wrong way. He came out sprinting to argue, he was moving so fast that when he tried to slow himself down he bumped the umpire by accident not on purpose. Watch closely.. you see him trying to stop himself, how do the commentators not see that. I saw that clear as day..
This is why MLB needs a robo umpire system so they can't blow a baseball game. These umps have been horrible as of late, and this is coming from a reds fan.
There needs to be a check and balance on umpires. If they are making clearly questionable call, and showing favortism, they should have severe consequences.
Home plate umps are so irrelevant to the game, their egos are so big they don't even realize that they could easily and should be replaced with an automated strike zone. If we're trying to make the game better and quicker get rid of them.
I am convinced that there aren't a group of people more sensitive that major league umpires. You can look at them and argue with them even when they are clearly wrong. This idea that you can't argue balls and strikes is wrong. I think most of them are frustrated people who couldn't cut it in baseball and are exacting revenge on the players. Joe West is a prime example of an umpire with rabbit ears and an exaggerated sense of himself.
Angel Hernandez really needs to go. He's nothing but trouble & I mean BIG ASS trouble. He's literally gonna ruin baseball for not only for everybody in the MLB, but also for us fans too.
