Felix Bautista's entrance is pretty awesome. Omar's whistle from The Wire is perfect for Baltimore. A grand entrance for a true mountain of a man. 6'8" 285 pound behemoth.
Lights should cut all the way out to start. And the announcer could have just a little situational awareness on when to add his piece. But I love Omar’s whistle
@@TheBeydler they did cut the lights all the way off the first time, but apparently there's some rule about not allowing teams to do that. Some kind of safety concern. Which makes sense. Could be walking down the stairs to your seat when the light just randomly cut off. lol
I am very shocked Will Smith's from when he was on the Braves isn't on here. He had such a great entrance every time that made him my favorite Closing Pitcher, and perhaps my favorite pitcher ever.
As an astros fan i got to see him close out the 2022 world series, they turn off the lights and all. and everyone has their flashlight on... Papelbon's is my favorite though lol
Look up Fernando Rodney’s walkup from his time with the Twins. I understand it being forgotten because he wasn’t great here. However, that walkup was better than half of these on the list.
this is a pretty solid list but i'm pretty disappointed in the lack of sean doolittle. i'd also probably hike felix bautista up the list further for creativity alone

Or Hoffman 1, Mariano 2, Diaz 3 As long as Hoffman and Mariano are 1 & 2 in any order, with Diaz at 3. The song isn't just about how cool it is - it's also what it represents when it's played. When Mariano or Hoffman came out - that game was over. Diaz has to put in more way more saves, but he's on his way to do the same. As a Padres fan, I miss what the Padres used to have when they had Akinori Otsuka and Scott Linebrink. That combo of Aki, Scotty, and Hoffy came in the 7th, 8th, and 9th - that game was wrapped and closed. I don't recall a time when those 3 never failed to hold and save a lead when they were together. Sadly, those Padres teams they were on were never expected to be anything great despite those 3 & having Prime-Jake Peavy and were bounced by the Prime-Albert Pujols Cardinals.
St. Louis and Toronto are head and shoulder above the rest. A few others are done to great hype music but those songs are over done and their stadium shows aren't as slick.
The best one ever is Mariano, but when Diaz had the live performance that outdid any mound walkup before or since but that was a one off. Crazy looking back at that Timmy Trumpet performance less than a year ago and then seeing what happened.
No disgrace Hoffman is number 1 for being the first closer to reach 600 saves and being the first closer to be inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame Rivera is the second closer to reach 600 saves and being the second closer to be inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame
@@christopherfranklin9838 Lol why would you just drop a blatant lie like that? Dennis Eckersley, Rollie Fingers, and Goose Gossage were closers inducted into the Hall of Fame well before Trevor Hoffman was. Please correct your message NOW and add my edit.
Great list and I loved watching all these clips. That said, Mariano not being #1 is just wrong. No closer in baseball has ever been more intimidating than Rivera walking out to Enter Sandman. Every fan of the opposing team knew the game was over when they heard that guitar riff
You’re gonna have Ryan Presley but no Grant Balfour? What are you high. Country music and baseball fit like peanut butter and mangos. One of them is great, and the other is peanut butter. (Country Music is the peanut butter)
I'm always telling people that country music and baseball fit like peanut butter and mangos. One of them is great, and the other is peanut butter. (Country music is peanut butter)
Helsey sorry only hoffman gets hells bells and yes the original and best Snubs Fernando Rodney Dbacks/twins (same song) Jose Valverde s spitting bull entrance John franco had an underrated early one with johnny b goode in the mid 90s
Trevor Hoffman and Hells Balls? A song already played, by a guy with Hels in his name at least. Switch 1 and 2 and completely remove the 2 shitty Boston songs. At least Paperweight used an ok song. The other guy a head of him, Sandstorm, Sandstorm? By freakin Dardu (sp) Anywho it was a good watch.. Thanx for the post
