When I first saw this quad I thought oh nice must get one, but those motors are just bad and from what others have said this quad really does need 080X motors with slightly lower kv for a reasonable flight time. I may just build my own using the elrs 5in1 with decent motors.

You make that sort of flying look effortless & easy! So unfair on everyone else! :D Hope you took some quads to fly on holiday, or not if you just want a break from it all. About to swap out the FC in my original Mobula 6 (one with the really nice original camera lens) because I already tried swapping out motors & props but it still wobbles. edit: Yep the gyro on the original board was shot, the virtual quad twitches in the configurator, flies smooth as glass with the new AIO.

Amazing skills and flight! I assume you fly on Acro ;) I started to try flying acro at home few days ago. I never thought that I will ask that question but what are your rates? :) I'm especially interested on Super Rate/RC expo. When I'm about to hit the wall I'm usually over reacting and entering the exponential part of the curve that leads to overshooting and my tinywhoop is down ;P I'm just wondering if your curves are more linear or exponential.

my rates for pitch are roll are 1.2 and .75, yaw is 1.3 and .8. I don't use expo.

It seems almost like a switch at the beginning of the battery. After the battery voltage starts to get lower it becomes more manageable.

How’s the reliability and the battery life on the t-lite? (Already watch your reviews :) )

I had some trouble with my initial t-lite after about 3 months use. I sent it in for service, they sent it back and said they only had to reflash opentx on it, I had tried that before I sent it in. So I can't be sure if I didn't do it correctly or reflashing didn't actually take care of it. While the original was out for service I bought another and have been using it since, and put the elrs module on the service t-lite, it has been working normally since.

Hey sir.. have a question... I have this v1.0 model as well as the new V2.0. Can I take the cli dump from the V2.0 and put it on the v1.0 to make it work with my BetaFpv ELRS 1000w Module?

@@ChristKrew-Rev1.8 correct. The internal receiver uses spi vs external will use uart. As well as on the configuration page we have to change that from spi as well.

I don't really need long range link hey, I do how ever need cheap. I'm a nurse so not a occupation that can pay for the hobbie of FPV for a myself and my son easily. And soon to be my daughter as she looovee the goggles.

@@NickBurnsFPV 14g-15g, happymodel diamond f4, 0702, 30mm props. there is no one but only AngryDon has it. so no one knows if they would like it or not. i want 0702 so i can give it a try. 26000kv with motor_output_limit = 80 is not a problem, but would still prefer lower kv. 19g, 0802 40mm props is totally a different setup. if people like that setup, it's a great setup and it already exists. they can have it now and keep flying it. Frsky D8 receiver shouldn't be a problem with 30mm props. you can't go anywhere with 30mm props anyway.

@@matthew04101 I have had reports of some getting less than 50feet on the spi rx. It impossible to know if its damaged, or a really difficult environment. I am often surprised of what people expect from the spi rx, being disappointed in 100meter control limits on whoops and the like.

Because the motors are 26000 kv, they are eating through the battery very fast. 20-21000 kv and you'd probably see 2 minute flights instead.

I'm going to get excited when we finally see the 2s version of the 5 in 1 boards. Even if we have to go back to an external vtx and 4 in 1, 2s would open up a lot of options. The new Nameless RC aio whoop board could be interesting. 15 amp esc and an onboard dvr, but only 1s capable.

@Dravonic I had an integrated elrs receiver in mind, but with how light the ep2 is it's not like you're adding a lot of weight. That board could be an option for now. I'd love to see a 12 amp board with elrs onboard though.

Having trouble binding my Jumper t-lite to my mobula 6. I haven't connected to my computer to get updates yet for controller or whoop. I haven't bought a memory card for the Jumper yet either. I have watched a bunch of videos on binding and that helped. What would you suggest I do first?

I think this is a step in the wrong direction. I think your comments about what quad these motors were meant for and the flight time are both deal breakers for me. 0803 25000kv is the way forward, especially for freestyle 😊❤

Those motors do work good obviously not in that kv. Unfortunately happymodel likes to argue with the advice given to them and go their own route. I tried to get them to make 19000kv because it was the same thrust as 802 19000kv with barely higher amp draw. That was before jesc came out so they would work even better now. They told me it was inefficient. So they release a 26000kv version thats worse. Lol

these tiny motors have one weakness : the 1mm shaft , so easy to bend and then the motor start vibrating like crazy

That's one reason on making your setup as light as possible will using the same motor base, shaft and bushing. Less weight = less stress 😉

Well those motors are a terrible choice - talk about battery shredders! I think Happymodel just wanted to get rid of their stock so they slapped them on a Mob6. I just finished a new build using the HappyModel ELRS board with 0603 16k Tiny Whoop Onesies (21g dry weight with plugs) and it easily gets 3 minutes with a 255mah cell on stock ESC firmware. Unless there is some huge performance gain (which I don't see tbh), I would wait for a lower KV version of the ELRS Mob6.

@@DonJohnsonFPV It's kind of both this fc would be good on the unibell 0802 as an updated mob 6 and these motors would be good with a diamond board for an even lighter moblite. Happymodel just made a weird quad, I wonder if they're trying to sell stock of parts maybe they have a bunch of these motors and no idea what to do with them so they thought stick it with the new boards to hop and sell them using the ELRS hype.

Doesn't make much sense. 702 have 25% less stator volume than 802 but weigh only 0.2g less. I'd stick to 802

1.22 flight time? And not even going that fast? Complete failure from happymodel, I hope they don't even release this model. If they read any comments on any video out on RU-vid about this quad, they will see how the entire community agrees this is a horrible design. Like others have said, put the 0702 motors on a moblite with the diamondF4 and put some 0802s or bigger on the ElrsF4!
