Hi! Thank you for this recipe! ☺️ It is quite similar to a Filipino dessert called "Carioca." We use glutinous rice powder to get that chewy texture. We often stuff it too with cheese and it's the best snack ever!

Pon De Ring donuts are absolutely delicious! The first time I had them, they were from a food truck where I had to spend an hour in line, but they were so tasty when they were fresh out of the fryer. Too bad I'm so terrible with frying. Then I could make these.

So glad to see this video! We tried another recipe and even with yeast they were not anything like the Mochinuts we buy ($29 a dozen in Seattle!! 🤯) We can't do it w/o Moe & Sutan; none of the recipes we found worked. THANK GOODNESS for Kimono Mom ❤ P.S. Sutan, Your gown is so elegant you look better than Belle 😘💛 My mom's family descends from Ennin (Jijiku Daishi) & my dad's Queen Victoria so I know a Japanese princess when I see one! ❤👸🏻
