You watch an incredibly beautiful and emotionel music video that a father dedicated to his two beautiful girls to tell them how much he loves them, explaining why he is working so hard to give them a better life, and apologizing for the times when he wasn't able to protect them from the harsh realities of what was going on, and your reaction is to be critical about him wearing glases and being around a lot of books.... wtf??? Eminem has 3 type of songs Heavy Af, goofy, or explicit and sometimes gross. Goofy examples are “A** like that” “we made you” “the real slim shady” explicitly gross is like “Fack” and “Insane”

One thing about Eminem's 'ART' is that he knows to blend emotions very very well; and only a very remote few of the artists understand and do that. From this soundtrack, mockingbird, Eminem just drifts feelings of depression, comfort, tunes back to loneliness, and meets up with assurance soon after. That part where he's gone break that birdie is a humour relief after the downtrodden emotions he just made listeners ride.

Yes! Eminem uses prescription glasses. His career is to write/type most of the time and if he isn’t there he is at his studio, so having a home office is NOT uncommon. When I was in junior high school Metal was looked at as violent devil worship music and trying to hear words over the over the guitar and drums etc seemed impossible. But I gave Metallica a real chance and it's fun. Eminem and a lot of hip hop is despite cursing and the subject is actually more intellectually stimulating then Ryan might like. Societal, family,social and inequality can be heavy subjects. But a lot of it is funny and a lot meant to be provocative.
