INTERNATIONAL SCALE MODELLER on RU-vid hosted a LIVE KIT AUCTION and raised over £3,257 for MODELS FOR HEROES - a charity which runs therapeutic scale modelling sessions to aid the recovery of ex-servicemen and women in the UK. Manufacturers such as EDUARD and AFV, along with other supporters of the charity, donated over 50 great kits for you to bid for! ❤️

Hey Owen So I have watched a lot of your videos and you have influenced my choice of a brush over an airbrush. I have decided to use enamel paints although in your brush painting video you mentioned brush types mostly for acrylic. What would be the best brush for painting enamel

Get a range of sizes of brush - 00 size is good for fine detail. I like manufacturers such as Royal and Langnickel, Windsor and Newton, and Pro Arte. I find gold taklon bristles are good. Since making that video I have discovered Revell Aquacolor and Vallejo Modelcolor which are extremely good brands of acrylic for brush painting

I Will surely join this auction and raise money! Also, i feel very guilty when buying a model.. What should i say to my parents when i do it? Because i dont Think they understand the meaning of my hobby... it helps me to relax and makes me remember the men and woman who served countries during the war...

Hi Owen, I recently got a Autoblina AB 41 and was a bit too heavy handed with the poly cement and left fingerprints on the exterior of the model with it, do you know any ways to remove those fingerprints of cover them up?

Try sanding them with some 800 or higher grit sandpaper, or they might need some filler - in which case I'd recommend Deluxe Materials Perfect Plastic Putty

What is the arrangement for shipping for international bidders? UK to Australia can get expensive for shipping..

I think they're doing it by announcing the estimated shipping for each kit at the start of the lot, then they'll calculate it exactly after and add it to what you bid for the kit

Dear Owen I am currently building the air fix 1:72 scale Lancaster and I am painting with a brush. I have seen your videos on painting with a brush and the paint ratios but I still get brush strokes whilst painting. Please help. Thanks

If it's a bit bumpy you might want to get some micromesh cloth so you can polish it to a smooth finish, if it's the colour which is looking patchy, you might just need another coat

I would like to expand my collection,i have two planes,two ships and one tank but problem is i dont have money to buy them bcs i need to wait like half of year to get one model kit.If i had little amount of money i would donate to them but problem is i dont have it.I'm eleven years old and scale modelling is my life.

I'm not good at storing/displaying models... I know David from PLASMO has a whole room lined with shelves filled with his models (its amazing). You could mount them to a board and then hang it on a wall? That's something I've debated doing but idk how it would work in practice

Of course! Just go to ru-vid.com at the right time on Friday - I don't know where you are but it will be 8:30PM in Europe, 1:30PM in Central America and 4:30AM East Coast Australia
