Joe Jefferson I thought it was an amazing commentary on what the world has become and the ways we communicate. And I loved the fact that Hailey was at hone the whole time !!!
This episode was a masterpiece in TV history. Except for Manny, every character got equal and good screentime and look at each character through Claire's perspective. Not to mention the attention to detail like her wallpaper be the photo from Dude ranch, how she closes all the tabs quite easily when she says "I'm bad with technology.", how she's reading about a dryer fire when Phil talks about doing the laundry...
@@cris2085 I'm guessing you're an edgelord who didn't think this episode was good and it was too mainstream for us feeble minded sheep. Please tell me about it.
@@hittingyouoverthehead no I just thought your list of things that impressed you was pathetic. The wallpaper? Her exiting out of tabs?? Cmon man what are you 80
@@cris2085 It was painfully obvious that's what you were referring to. It is called attention to detail. Something which you clearly don't have judging from the lack of punctuation in your writing. Is that what this is? You're mad that I admire a quality that you don't have.
omg i just realized Claire posted as Brody Kendall "Just told my mom what I did when I went out last weekend. It's really cool to share your life with the parents" 0:14 this show is a masterpiece i swear
Yesss! And under the comment by Brody Kendall, Margaret Lacroix (which is also Claire, which you can see at the beginning when she's logging in as Brody Kendall), commented 'my mum's the coolest!'
I felt horrible that Haley ended up with Dylan, she barely got any proper screentime or build up with him. Haley had an entire dramatic build up with Andy in which she matured all throughout, only to be dropped with Dylan again in the end.
I wish Dylan ended up w someone who actually loved him unlike Haley and then Haley should have stayed single or Andy's character could have appeared for a few seconds and hint that they r back together
Valerie Garcia I always felt that was the point. People have become so dependent/obsessed with technology that they tend to be overly reliant on it. I have actually had someone text me while in the same house because it was easier then actually walking across 2 rooms.
I think they did that on purpose to show how impulsive they all are and how they'd rather jump to conclusions rather than take a breath and actually do something sensible. That's the gimmick for the Dunphy's in the first place
No....Clair asked Phil where is hailey and he says he hasn't seen her. He also says he didn't see Alex either when she was right behind. Clair then asked Alex cuz she is the responsible one, but Alex also said she didn't see her home. Then Alex added hailey was going to see Dylan that's when Clair freaked and checked her Facebook and saw the married status and then you know the whole ordeal. Clair thought that if 2 people are saying she isnt home then it's probably true. 🙄
I can alert my magician colleges in Vegas but they are more more used to making women disappear then they are finding them and then laughs at his own joke he really does play the perfect goofy dad.
This episode sure must have won a prize. I can't expect any less from Frasier's creators. But the magic of this episode is that the viewer became Claire for this episode. Ever heard of "las meninas" by Velasco? This is what this episode was.
I love how they made the FaceTime call not like full and smooth quality, because FaceTime almost always lags 😂 I liked that they made the call realistic!
blurdreamer this is actually wasn't an advert at all! Apparently the writers just decided on an episode like this and there was no product placement involved. After the episode came out Apple actually commended them for making this episode so creative, using heir products :)
what's ironic is that back when this eps was aired, facetime didn't even support multi-person. It has to be one to one. It was much later in 2018, apple made facetime support multiple-person chatting at once
This episode brings me back to high school. I was in a special program that allows Juniors and Seniors to take college-level courses. Each table in our class was assigned a character and we had to determine their Meyers-Briggs personality type based on what we observed in this episode.
I JUST realized that one of the comments is from Kenny “Jeanius”, that weird older guy that Haley used to date omg, the attention to detail on this episode is just unreal!
Then it all went downhill from there... Don’t get me wrong, I used to be a big fan of this show. But these new episodes are just so bad I can’t watch it anymore
@@sagebauland4276 I think the later episodes are great, (earlier ones r better) its very hard to keep the same quality going on for 11 years. The writers dont always have good ideas and its annoying when people expect that out of them after 11 years.
This was before Searching. I’m wondering if it was one of those in-style-only tributes/references to Unfriended. Thankfully, this episode was much better than that movie.
If I remember correctly, the directors of this episode were inspired by a short film called Noah. I think Noah was the first iteration of the Desktop Film.
