@@eonnephilim852 You could just parry enemies or circle strafe + backstab them in DS1. It's only turn based if you ONLY use rolling i-frames. It is very slow though.

@@PhilipLL It’s not only the frog fight I don’t think, I think after playing any of the fights that have a lot of moving parts on screen for about an hour or so, the game just starts looking like a PowerPoint presentation with like 15 fps. Also some of the fights cause massive bitrate issues (when streaming) but I think that’s unsolvable and kinda just adds to the experience.

You know what, if you're interested in the game, watch the first part or even better play the demo. Play the demo man, and if you don't like the demo you won't like the game but maybe watch the game for the story. The game feels like Undertale slightly for a good bit but a lot of it is a lot more serious than Undertale ever was. Enjoyable for a lot of reasons

@@Bloodhurl67 Honestly I'd say its closer to a bullet-hell kinda game. The enemies attack in rhythm, and you just dodge for the most part, although eventually you get to parry attacks. It's totally understandable if its not for you tho.

It's so underrated and the devs are really nice too

I mean, I think it's about as good a game as Undertale (which for me is exceptionally high praise) but I think there's something to be said for how much Undertale was an inspiration for small indie developers that this game simply will never match up to (edit: to be clear, if this game had come first, my opinion would be the opposite). It deserves a lot of praise, but I think it'd need to have a style more unique to itself to deserve "as much" praise as Undertale.

Its kinda harder for bigger companies since eventough the devs want put their heart and love to the game , sometimes it gets on the way of the company / company goals . (exception for passion projects )

@@Blu-Azure Yeah, many people may not realise that, but that's exactly the biggest problem with big game companies. Developers have the passion for the project, but the "managers" usually do not, all they care about is getting money from the sales, which is incredibly sad, and actually really boils my blood, so I'll stop here, lol. It's like in that russian meme picture that I've seen lately, where indie devs are jealous of AAA's budget, while AAA are jealous of the creative freedom that indies have.

People give 3a devs too much credit. All they do is promise us a bunch of stuff and deliver half, then they patch in one or two things in to shut us up, then they drop support of the game and move onto something else. People who cope and continue to eat 3a dev shit baffle me.
