The problem is the father appears to be incapable of giving a straight answer to any question the judge asks. He goes on tangents, drags in unnecessary info that confuses the judge, jumps around between facts and timeline forcing the judge to make him repeat himself. Much of his testimony was incomprehensible. He did GREAT at the end when he was able to just tell his story…but court doesn’t work that way.. He really needs an attorney speak for him & a Guardian Ad litem to help him organize his case.

@@SDoyle-uq8wf No because a judge MUST be there at the times. The attorney could be hired and paid for by the parents. If they are trying to take away all rights of the parents or CPS gets involved in the states i have seen CPS courts they ARE given a attorney.

@63076topher Right, a Judge has to be there. Which costs money. If attorneys are involved, the process would be streamlined. It would go faster. It would take up less court time. And therefore cost less money. Moreover, it would help prevent repeat, frivolous filings. Also saving money.

Getting arrested alone is not proof of guilt, and considering how many women and mothers have been arrested, I would be careful about basing all your judgments off that alone. I myself have never been arrested and my exwife has been arrested 4 times; twice for DWI, one for probation violation for one of the DWIs, and once on a warrant for child abuse. And these last 3 happened within the last year, the first over 10 years ago.

You're a comment has more common sense than anything that the judge said & you are correct, this woman basically is trying to say that because her baby daddy is mixing up 2 men that she dated and got it wrong as far as which one actually was abusive makes the situation better and how in the world did the judge just gloss right over the fact that even the mother agreed with her baby daddy on the actual accounts of the physical abuse and even told her baby daddy about the police report that listed child cruety and battery which at the end of the day these are the decisions that the mother is making.that affects the well being of her child which is not good,;it's horrible. Before the judge through a childish temper tantrum and ended the case she should have made sure that that child was safe because the father indicated that he believes that she is still seeing the abusive man which we know all too well that in most cases women tend to take the abusive man back. The judge should have gave the father credit for getting up at 4 o'clock in the morning and not only grabbing his kid but also taking her daughter that's not his own biological child which shows you that he is good descent man so much so that the baby mama callef the father before she called the police. & the judge should have picked up on that because it indicates and proves that even the mother knows that the child is better off with the father

Father didn't want to tell the judge about mothers mental and substance abuse issues. He cares about her and was trying to be protective. He never imagined that the judge would not give him his daughter considering she violated order to return child to him. I think father being locked up briefly threw judge off. He had to pull a hail Mary to get his baby.

Super unprofessional, I guess the judge feels like she's so educated and so sophisticated that is now more so a nuisance dealing with these black folks & their problems, Well, guess what, People have problems and the court is supposed to help them workout what's in the best interest of the child so for the judge to throw a temper tantrum and in the case speaks volumes of how unprofessional she is because the father indicated that the child was assaulted & he even spoke about a police report that list charges of child cruelty a battery and the judge should have put her personal feelings aside to address those issues because typically battered, women tend to take abusive men back, and the father did indicate that he believes that she is still seeing the man.

According to him it's was false & based on the cops running his tags, dunno about that case one way or another. Could have been a false report, or he could have borrowed the car from someone who had those charges & he got arrested instead of the person the charges were against.

It didn't help that instead of trying to halt the questioning from the judge until the sound was fixed, she instead kept cutting him off and asking him to repeat himself, by speaking over him. The judge was actually more of a problem for me, instead of dad. I could hear him just fine, so maybe the judge should have stfu for a second to fix the issue instead of trying to suss out what she was hearing by making assumptions instead of making sure she could hear him. I can't imagine being the stenographer during this hearing.

A friend of mine does the same thing with her children, act she cares about her children & does the best for them but in reality she pawns her children off on their fatherS & family members as much as possible & for as long as possible. She wants to live her independently and hadn't seen her daughter for a year, moved her son into a live in trade school when he turned 17 & her youngest she keeps bouncing between various aunts for 2 weeks at a time & spends a couple days with her in between each "visit"

I grew up in a one parent home -mom-, I'm from the deep south where we have our own dialect, and I could not understand 90 percent of what he said. I LEARNED to enunciate my words clearly when I was not around people who understood my vernacular. There is a "professional" vernacular and a "personal" vernacular.
