Happy Monday! We sang "Praise Ye the Lord, the Almighty" yesterday in our service, and I was so encouraged by the message in the words. Here in the US, we're celebrating Thanksgiving Day this week, so this hymn is a great one to sing as we meditate on God's goodness to us!

I am thankful for a God who heals the body and the soul. My oldest daughter was healed of cancer two years ago.

Thank you so much for the reminder of this song. I've been searching for a good Baptist church that is founded on the old hymns. This lifted my heart and my spirit today. I so needed this.

That song's lyrics were written by Joachim Neander in 1680. Originally in German and ... truly a great song! greeting sand blessings from Germany, Europe and Merry Christmas! Thank you for the music 😊
