These videos remind me of the days of me tagging along with a local builder and he had me loading and unloading concrete and rubble all day long, it seems fair to say that you are a lot more laid back than that guy was lol all said and done it made me a stronger bloke
Ever thought of Magnetic fishing for scrap, There's loads of RU-vid channels at it, Be a fun day out for you Bill and your kids, Be reaching out to a larger audience and could help bring in more views.
Quick Question Gary... Is it not worth your time to remove the drums from washing machines and innards from dishwashers and cash in separately as stainless?
It is worth it, If you have the time. For me personally, The amount of time it would take me to strip all these down, I don't see it being worth it. That is just my opinion
Tbh as you pull up to a spot bill should be ready to jump out and scope it out. You seem to be the first man out and last man in lol top vid pal. Do you cover Ashford at all?
always see u doing posh areas, the rough estates wer the gold is at brother they love to chuck anything and everything in the back allys, landlord clearance my way is chuck everything in the back ally so can rent it out again haha
Another wicked video, keep it up mate! It was me that asked about the waste transfer note, where do you get these from? Also do you give this to the tip each time or do they give you a receipt when you pay to dispose of the stuff?
Scrap can go from pretty much zero as it was in March last year or up to really high as they are now usually dips to around £95 -£110 as a normal these prices are totally abnormal 😁😁
@@LightyCollects prices of base metals are high because China is spending massively on infrastructure and international trade is busy precious metals are high as they are a better investment than banks etc 😁😁
@@stevewhite6773 to some degree I agree with you. However I believe the gold will drop and silver will rise. There is more digital gold being sold than is actually left in the world. Silver will be used more and more and demand I believe will see it hit £100 an ounce
@@LightyCollects gold has many different uses technology etc etc so is going to stay high not sure whether silver has so many applications but would not be surprised if it hit £40-£50 an ounce good luck 😁
Tippers are well exspenive and can have many more hassles than a van ,yes benefits easy unloading ,cons high load bed and hassle with tipper unit if it fails, I have been at this for 20+years and have never needed a tipper ,xlong WB transit or sprinter with high roof perfect Van 😁
a tipper can be used more easily for waste removal adding an extra source of income just my opinion and you can deliver materials as well I don’t actually keep my scrap as I don’t have a yard atm I give mine away earn much more as a working truck and a labourer but if for the sole purpose of scrapping tipper not required
@@darrenquarterman2611 I use my van for rubbish scrap and deliveries have done all the years I've been doing this so no a tipper has absolutely no advantages except speedy unloading in countfy lanes and laybys 😁😂😂
Just depends what is about near the time. Tipper is not essential but can be handy if your doing a lot of waste. Personally, it don't take me and bill long to unload by hand. Just things like soil and hardcore can be a pain
